You are doing fine. BUT you can do better. Your benching technique needs improvement and tweaking. Don't take it the wrong way, you have potential.

Guys, I need some advice here. below is the pic I found on internet which I shared similar characteristics with and I am too ashamed to post my own body pic here.

1. narrow shoulder
2. wide hips
3. no muscle mass at all
4. currently 78kg, 175cm, I would say i have over 20% body fats

Thanks. Yeah I think I'm using too much of my arm strength. When it's about 75kg I could do it slightly more proper. Gonna have to work it up again.

What's the difference between benching at a regular bench and at a power rack without the pin? laugh.gif

just start lifting to get newbie muscle mass, any newbie will get muscle mass doesnt matter they are on cut or on bulk.

EAT AT MAINTENANCE for the first 3 month , I would say about 1800 calorie to begin with then increase to 1900 a month later, 2000 calories 2 months later as you increase in muscle mass you need more calories to sustain your muscle and strength, you can decide you want calorie deficit or calorie surplus later

your weight scale wont budge much as you lose fat, you build muscle as well (if you are doing weights that is), measure your pregression by looking in the mirror and your cloth size.
