Anyone here mind to share any experience with the Japanese lcd TV model that requires step down transformer in Malaysia. Found out that the new sony bravia x model just been released there with an acceptable price list, and going to tokyo..next month too...and how much normally the custom will charge for the duty of lcd tv...

I have no problem with vga. look fairly good to me.. I didnt use component because i dun wan so many cables running around.

But ours will be revision A03, this is only A02, maybe got improvement? Duno where i put my component cables dy.

Anyway, if u were to use vga, try buy ori.. dun use 3rd party.. hard to say sumtimes u get good ones and bad ones.

Hahahaha..I am a bit scared lah...on the price side...much much lower than here in malaysia with the new model (dunno when it will arrive here)..but scared if i burn more thna rm10k for nothing...thats why needs some advise about its workability here...

the estimated drop of lcd and plasma tv will drop another 20% - 30% by the 2nd half of next yr. one of my fren who work at sony malaysia told me la. how true, itu i also dunno... hehehe..... so can we wait that long ?

1) 1280 x 720,
2) 1280 x 768,
3) 1360 x768, or
4) 1280 x 1024?

1280 x 1024 is better,but i will choose 1360 x 768

just curious... if 1280 x 1024 is better, why choose 1360 x 768?

it's true, lcd price was expected to drop by 40% next year. and now even china brand also come out with lcd tv, those branded company sure have to lower the price to keep competing.

Well, a lot of the main LCD companies being investigated for price fixing now, aren't they? If they get a guilty verdict I'm sure prices will drop.

Other than that ... prices are always dropping man, if you want to wait you'll never get an LCD.

i found out there are 2 reso are quite good with 2007wfp

1. 1280 x 768
2. 1280 x 1024, wide screen format.


but i found out 1280x1024 better..

they said imm supppose to get my lcd today
but they said ill get on friday and the lcd is already in KL
then later they call again ur LCD still on the ship at sea will be coming on saturday

i fk kau dell upside down u delay till after xmas which they promise me on 21st ill get my lcd then they call again they say passing thru custom gonna take some time so ill get my lcd on tuesday
