hi guys, as the thread title is stated...i was wondering( i havent got an Xbox 360 yet but planning to get one from Djinn very very soon)....should i buy a 19inch LCD monitor to play my games or just use my regular average tv(32 inch)... sweat.gif

ive been doin "research" on the net and i would just like to get sum feed back from u proud 360 owners out there rclxms.gif

for me, im interested in getting a good resolution and getting to enjoy all the details that an xbox 360 and its games can offer. And sadly no..i dnt have the money to go buying plasma tvs cry.gif lol.....any advice would be appreciated to help me solve my dilemma.... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

what about CRTs?better choice compared to LCDs when playin ur xbox 360?

PS: i never owned a LCD monitor b4...so i dnt knw what to expect...heheehee doh.gif

what 32" TV is it? LCD or normal TV?

u can get a philips or Dell LCD monitor,as they are one of the best in 360

but a 32" TV is enough if u wanna play games, heck my 27" TV is too big for me

but its mainly your choice
go to a shop and see for yourself smile.gif

i only bought a refurbished 21" crt monitor to play my 360. i would say the quality is much2 more better compared to my 21" normal panasonic tv in the living room.

last time played condemed in the normal tv cannot see at all but now playing in my crt monitor damn syok can see all the details/mapping.

Easiest n cheapest solution is get a Large CRT screen like judge's 21".
They produce HD images over a VGA cable at a vry small price.
2nd get a TV which can display HD images like the SONY 29" I forgot its model. It's bout RM1900 for a 29" HD.
3rd get an LCD display. Go widescreen if possible as its the way to play games IMHO. 19" wide will set you back bout RM1200 for a viewsonic.
4th if you got cash to splurge.. go for LCD or PLASMA. 32" or 42" or even 50" heck ur wallet is ur limit.
No matter what display you get, You wont regret the X360. smile.gif
Cheers

yup wait till u see some guy playing his 360 on his 10" tv (the one u bring on field trips or police use at home tongue.gif )

it will satisfy u,at least until PS3 comes out, which they say GRAW would look much better

Whatever it is that you get, get a widescreen one. Trust me, you're missing a lot if you don't go widescreen with the X360 smile.gif

A CRT monitor is the best bet for the best looking graphics, but it lacks widescreen....

off course lah widescreen LCD far more better than normal crt monitor. you must remember also the price also far more extra $$$. hehehe i am on limited budget so for me a rm295 refurbished 21" crt monitor is so damn good already. but if you got extra budget then just go ahead with the widescreen LCD.

^ ya thats true.. both CRT monitor and LCD monitors are HD.. what matters is only the resolution that you will get how how big you wan to see your games in.

I've posted some images taken from a 24" DELL 2405FPW. Not exactly good pics (taken from a HP) but at least it'll give u a rough idea how they might look like on a LCD.
