I am off to buy a Macbook, but I'm concern about a few things about this batch of Macbook.

- Discolouration, any complain so far in Malaysia?
- High temparature, goes up to 60 celcius? That is just too hot.

Any bad thing about this batch of Macbook yet?
And da, how much is the 1GB Macbook in Ringgit?

- none so far, it only happens to specific batches, and mind you, it's white, so don't expect too much....

- every processor is hot under load.... please find me a system that don't require an HSF....

- instead of bad things, try focusing on the good things, wil'ye....?

- you're better off asking the resellers as they charge different pricing and RAM price fluctuates....

reinstall your OS X with the Clean Install option, avoid installing language files, printer drivers and trial softwares.... that should save up some of your precious HD space....

Is the RM4399 MB Vista ready?
I know XP is possible but how about Vista?
Plus, can we use only XP but no Mac OS? To save space

lokgotz and vendetta...
I ran a Get Info yesterday to check out the memory that's taken up by Mac OS X.... 5GB is spent on system files, 7GB is used for application files and a humongous 9-10GB is used for library files!!!
Damn... i didn't know that Mac OS X is soooo huge!

kbandito... why do u wanna buy a MB when u wanna run Vista OS ?? Might as well just get a Dell or a Fujitsu laptop...

like i said b4 you can customized it to save disk space, eg: dont have to install other languages unless you understood spanish or portugese, dont have to install all printers if you only use canon printers, dont have to install garage band and imovie if you only use iphoto and iweb and so on.. gudluck biggrin.gif

Say guys, have you guys heard of the suggestion that leaving the laptop (PC) battery installed while using off the adapter will cause the battery life to decrease..?

Is that true..? and if so, should i do it on my MacBook as well....?
