I didn't know the Preve Turbo comes with side airbags. And the side airbags are actually hidden in the side front seats. Nice. That explains some funny-looking wiring at the bottom of the front seats. Must be the side air-bag wiring that connects to the front seats from the bottom.

Too bad the Preve Turbo comes with fabric seats. If it comes with leather seats it would be a whole lot better. The Preve Turbo is surely one nice, solid and safe car to drive around.

Personally if I would think it is not so much about warranty for the air-bags being void if one were to install leather seats in the Preve Turbo, but whether the air-bags were to deploy properly as intended. Of course, one were to hope that they won't see any air-bags in the car being activated at all, if given a choice!

Side track from Air Bags abit. The meter on the car dashboard is showing like 11.4liter/100km.

This is after 1st service, so wandering if this normal FC after 1st service.

Also is the meter accurate?

The wiring under the seat is not just for the side airbag, it also tells your car if you are wearing your seatbelt (hence the annoying chime if you are not wearing it).

airbag included in warranty?? how do you test if its working or not? airbag will only deploy in the event of crash with a certain amount of speed which triggers the sensor.. there are alot of people that already using leather seat or PU seats.
*

i guess SC wont entertain you if the airbag error logo appeared on meter as air bag may faulty during the leather seat installation...

If mostly city drive, it is about there...
mine 75% Plus Highway, about 9.7L/100km

but for better FC, recommended go for Petronas 3000 instead of Petronas 1000, about Rm25 differences only
better FC may contribute more than RM25

A vendor gave me a bottle of Syntium 5000 for free biggrin.gif

Anyway, after some research, many people recommend EA Autoworks to install reverse camera, since they said it does not void warranty, so I might give a try this weekend hmm.gif

Silver as usual is the safe colour, black and red to look sporty (I prefer the former), and the brown does indeed look elegant and nice.

Don't worry about the problems, most of them can be fixed. For my case, the infamous metal creaking when making a turn was no longer there after driving it for some times.

Then can't really give you my accurate impression, since I've only ridden in it twice and that's mostly on highway laugh.gif

there is also weight sensor under passenger front seat to prevent airbags activation if u forget to off front passenger airbag incase u put stuff, a baby on baby seat infront, todler(which isnt recomended),small kid. cant rember exactly, whether weight below 20kg or 15kg it will deactivated. for safety reason n for save a bit of pockdt money replacing pass airbag if nobody sitting there.
