power still the same,but delivery of power a bit diff due to tuning according to weight.n target fc. its complicated. some like abrupt power,some like more linear,some like progression.
the easiest way to feel the engine raw power,for preve,go to fully manual mode,not in d or s mode,for eb, sat. so u can feel the powerband from 1k rpm to redline coz attach to virtual ratio. unless it has manual gearbox,then easy to feel the raw power.
in full cvt,hard to feel coz its to smooth n engine sudden rev.
but hey,its just feeling n how its response to pedal input.
suprima s pedal pretty sensitive to pedal input. just smooth cvt hampered the feeling.
but cruising hilly road is the advantage of cvt,the engine no need to work hard coz optimum ratio of cvt,while normal at,or even dct,gear hunting is normal,unless the engine has enourmous torque,like puttin cfe in saga
