Not sure about u guys... Me personally will never want to stay, invest or being near this development.

At the rate such nonsense going around, soon this place will turn into drug and samseng outlet.

It is worst than Mongkok in Hong Kong.

Soon u will see prostitute operating there, then will see people extortion, thief, ....

I really hope those pubs will move away and replace with more restaurant.

The SOHO is really good for single/couple. Perfect location to travel to PJ/KL. So far, the security is very good. Operating illegal business in these SOHO unit is very difficult. A lot buyer buy for own stay. I can see how fast the resident here reports to building management when something goes wrong.

No major concern except no parking lot for SOHO visitors. If visitors park in common carpark, I seriously afraid of those drunk drivers.

Block C unit that face north has city view. Not hot during day time. Personally, Level 16-22 are good. Level 24 should be the highest level, nearer to the roof. I believe it would be a bit hot.

Block B units are facing east/west. Expose to direct sun. A bit hot too.

All three blocks also have units facing swimming pool. Block B is directly facing the pool.

Firstly, you are right, choosing a property is personal. And I personally thought that scott soho is convenient - whether it is food, groceries, public transport and its proximity to KL. Security wise, it is tip top - you'll need accesss card to the lobby and access card to the specific floor of your unit. And not to mention the cctv, guards, visitor's record book, separate carpark from scott garden, limited access cards per unit and etc.. And you say it's bad???!

Secondly, scott garden has been up and running for about 2 years now.. do you hear or see in social media everyday that "nonsense going around" in scott? please enlighten me on this if you can, with proof of such cases.
Just based on the drunkard-hit-run-6cars-incident, you concluded it will turn into drug and samseng outlet. you are being judgemental, no? Accidents happen everywhere my friend, you see cases in midvally, bangsar, hartamas, bukitbintang... do they turn into a drug and samseng outlets that public stays away?????

Thirdly, mr.myproblem, I dun understand your problem. of all places, you are comparing scott to mongkok???? locally, scott garden is comparable to pub areas in hartamas, bangsar or kotadamansara, which will have some sort of "nonsense" whether you like it or not. Or you tell me a perfect area, 100% "nonsense" free. You get me point?

Lastly, you still have your crystal ball with you? I suggest you work with the police to tell them where to find criminals. I believe you can tell them exactly where are the potential areas with prostitute, extortion and thiefs. Bravo, bro, bravo. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

I once too had an interest in getting one unit here, but somehow seeing the fact its a SOHO and with so many pubs at its entrance kinda kills the interest.
It would be nice if it is replaced with dining cafes.

Family wont choose this place to stay. Too many pubs. Dont think you want to bring your kids walking around the pubs. But for single or lone ranger, still can accept this kind of environment. Can have chicks everynight.

actual facts.

Whether this place is a drug/prostitute/crime place , i have been renting out my unit from the 1st months of key collection at rm 1900 and just sold my unit at 500k. earning a gross profit more than 150k at scott garden. its consider a good investment for me in scott

however i wish it could be better if full of nice dining restaurants and more nice shops instead of more pubs around.
No area is 100% perfect and scott can be outstanding in years time as its located at middle of old klang road.

cheers

Recently i read from some forum that foreign prostitutes offer their service at hotel rooms client pays for their service and professional pros will bear the room charges since they are staying there.

With that in mind, just check out the vacation rental site for Scott and u can see quite a number of posting of short term rental (includes Groupon).

So it is just too easy and convenience for Professional Pros to get client down stairs and bring them back to their apartment above them.

Just hope the building sound proofing is good.

I agree on that part for short term rental gain.

In longer run, the property will worth less due to RED LIGHT and could be problem having to resell it later.
