i'm wondering is Samsung is implementing some sort of really silly charging current limitation. or maybe the GCC reading is somehow off...

lately, i noticed my Note2 charging current is only like 400-600 for both wall charger and also using my Long March Yoobao. funny thing is when i turn off the power and click refresh on GCC, it still shows the current reading (instead of going to 0).

i'm more towards suspected Samsung may have implemented something to limit the charge but its a 'flawed' implementation. I end up having to plug and unplug the charger/ cable many many times before getting a reading above 1000. sometimes, even have to restart the phone. i know its probably implemented to protect the phone. but seriously, capping the charge to 400-600 is really bad. if i'm using the phone while its being charged, the nett effect is i actually lose more battery (usage more than charging).

plus, i wonder if Samsung is taking the easy way out and just simply putting a 'limit' for a few hours or so... coz after a few unplug/ plug, then the charge current changes...

just curious... since there is an issue with Sandisk memory card, why is there still got ppl using it huh?

because

1. sandisk is a big name in flash memory biz
2. its name is synonymous with reliability and they advertise as having higher sustained speeds
3. its more easily available at more reputable stores. eg: samsung retail in malaysia sells their flash memory

for the 64GB cards, as long as you follow some advices from uncle Benny - not copying too large chunk of data at one time (>5GB), it is quite ok. I also recommend not formatting the cards or transferring the data to the card via your computer directly EXCEPT if you are very sure you have the latest SDXC-compatible card reader. Use the USB cable to transfer instead.

Generally, 32GB Sandisk mobile ultra just have few RMA thru my previous bulk. 64GB has higher RMA rate.

i have flashed the latest DMB5 rom by Du@lnote v8, and paired with perseus 33.4, i say that this might be one of the most complete roms ever!

nice white theme throughout (as i prefer) or you could get it in all glowing red (very unique theme), stock theme or AOSP theme.

there is option for AOSP-ing the stock apps (calculator, contacts, dialer, camera, gallery, bla bla bla) but i just did the clock. the white theme has made the overall touchwiz so much more prettier!!!

paired with some sense5 htc one wallpapers, its excellent! anddddd, battery life is amazing too!
