Nothing, but it happened when the phone was updating the Line software I think. Uninstall it a already but still happens. How do I see recently updated apps?
Pls check the message when u turn on your phone . Some phones , without sim card will auto shut down after a period of time . It's 2 prevent the phone from turning on during shipping or while in the box . Yours might be the case .
Nothing happens when I turn on. Only happens a couple of minutes after restarting. Force me to press the restart button. Can't press back
If i remember correctly , not sure if it's note 2 or note , if there's no sim inserted , there'll be a warning that there is no sim and the phone will auto shut down after 5 or 10 mins . It's just a safety feature for the phone , nothing can be done unless u insert a sim card into it
Anyone here tried Samsung baes MiUi? Looks nice but dono how the performance
4.1.1 based ........... A lot of wakelocks but havent tried the latest . MIUI v5 based on 4.2 is out but guess it's gonna be a while b4 we have it since it's TW based now for Note 2 . Oh ya , some features still unavailable
careful , dont delete anything unless u r sure . Got some users accidentally deleted some files and folders who seem useless and ended up with a dead phone . Have to flash the firmware all over again
Thanks btw, firmware is the baseband version right? Mine is in N7100DXALJ1.. probably cuz still in 4.1.1.. If i update normally to 4.1.2, root and use triangle away is ok right sifu?
firmware is build number . Baseband version is the modem currently in use in your phone . LJ1 ?
One slight discomfort I find for full cover cases in this case my defender otter box, it eats up my hp fast when using it as totally no breathing space n the back polycarbonate case is covered with foamy thing.mand plus when charge hard to open up mafan . , and the screen easy to attract dustbeven underneath the provided screen. Doesnt cover home button so that is where ust will come in from .. Put aluminum home button also got few managed to go through. , .
Ah I see. Thanks for the reply. Need to buy additional adapter then.
Frankly , I prefer the AP unit charger to SME charger any time especially during traveling . Safe a lot of space in storing and dont need 2 worry I'll lose 1/2 of the charger if I'm careless .
Noted with thanks. One more final question before flashing the rom tonite
1. After flashing the rom, I believe everything will be wipe out, right? Can I use titanium backup to restore all my apps, sms, call log, contact, calendar event, alarm, settings, etc?
2. If I have nandroid backup, I can restore back to original stock rom state (everything will looks the same as before), right
I am a little worry that all data will be gone since this is the first time I'm doing rom flashing.
U can actually do a dirty install and only do a full wipe if u have problems like force close . Dirty install means u dont wipe your data aka factory reset in recovery . Just flash it over your current rom . That way , all your apps + data + settings is all in tact . Choice is yours .
No. Please do a full wipe. Currently you are on stock rom which is odex form. Custom rom is deodex form and to prevent any complication later and a much nicer first flashing experience, better wipe.
Oh ya hor , he is on stock and odex . Better follow his advice or Reventon and full wipe
Hi all, I got in touch with Grant of GrantBarker.com. His site is in Post 5, and is also a very good portal for Note 2 resources. He agreed to link our topic on his Community Links>Samsung Galaxy Note 2 section.
So since now we're a little more international, it will benefit everyone to improve their English
Faster put Smart Scroll to Note II la. Heck, 4.2.1 faster come to Note II la...
I rather stick with 4.1.2 for now . Read somewhere b4 4.2.1 seems to have some problem with battery draining issue hence 4.2.2 was released yet it seems the problem is still there . Nex users should be clearer on this issue
