I normally eat the Hong Kong style wan ton mee, not those Singapore version which is pretty bland by the way.

On Average, Singapore food cannot beat Malaysian food....
but there are some good ones.

Yes. HR must apply for your work pass and get the approval from MOM BEFORE you ever step foot in SG n start work. Note that such approvals don't take "a couple or hours." it can be anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks plus (or even get rejected).

If HR is asking you to come in and work on social visit pass first while they apply for your pass then they are asking you to break SG laws.

I still prefer HK style like those at Jade but now quite a lot of HK people migrated to Sg and setting up stalls at hawker centre. Try those. even better than Malaysia version.

so far local banks dont have $$$ incentive for signing up but dbs n uob a lot of disc at eateries and for shopping... as for $$$, i would go for hsbc n scb... citibank gives bag nia, last time cash voucher

yeah, Mandai Road turn into Upper Thomson Road. It's at the end of the shop houses before turn into SLE. Got 2 rival shops side by side but the one at the end lot next to the Shell station is better.
