pass holder can't drive m'sian car unless he stays outside Singapore (i.e. in JB) and commutes daily.
pass holder who stay in Singapore must drive Singapore car.
pass holder can do either of the above in Singapore using his foreign license for first 12 months, after that must convert to SG license.
Been in Singapore so long d, don't simply anyhow give wrong info can or not doh.gif

Erm, are you too busy to read through what people had post to you? you can drive SG car using malaysian license for the first 12 month you are here, after 12 month, you need a singapore license, is this clear enough?

You need police report to claim insurance right? Even if you lost your bike in Malaysia, no harm getting a SG police report in English for the paperwork.

where you get the ID is where you need to go for a new card. Sg police can't issue any of your MY ID right?

ps : you need police report from local police where the incident took place. If it is in MY then you can make another police report in SG to inform TP.

I think I have the same problem as well...submitting resumes to a lot of online job sites but did not receive any reply.

Any recommendations for a more "personalized" headhunter agency for Malaysians to get jobs in Singapore? biggrin.gif

Got offered a 5k RM job + allowance (should not be that high, few hundred maybe) in Sabah recently, doing the same kind of job now but with a lower position. According to some friends there, the pay already above market rate in Sabah.

Want to ask, Malaysia system a bit different? EPF = CPF, then got one more call Socso, and the tax is every month deduction? So after all those, would get around 4k?

I am on a one week home, one week SG working schedule now. But I think this can't work out in the long term, say few years down the road. Still prefer more time back home.

Advantage - more time with family and financee.
Disadvantage - pay cut and starting from the bottom of career again.

For those that come to SG to work with a previous job in Malaysia, if given similar situation, will you consider to go back?
*
5k you sure you can survive or not? Say bye bye to your gadget babies and biannual holiday trips for you and wife already?

Switch on your SG phone or call me or your good friend before we fly back tomorrow, arrange crash interview for you. My dad looking for people helping him, you sure over qualified, salary same like your SG one but in RM, better than this 5k.

Which sector you looking at? End User/SI/Vendor?

With that years of experience, approximate 4k-5k.
