QUOTE(tailtwist @ Apr 19 2013, 10:51 AM) Will be based in Malaysia, now is transition period, one week here one week there. If things go smoothly, most of the time will be in Malaysia and fly back for meetings.QUOTE(fongwan @ Apr 19 2013, 11:21 AM) Cool thanks for all the tip will try to do some survey. I sharing room with my GF, she come here once a while during the holidays. Landlady really welcome her every time, and ask her to come often and cook her lunch when I am working. You have to discuss with the owner before signing to see if they allow or not and how much. Some due to religion, personal reasons, and don't want a couple. My previous Muslim landlord don't allow due to religion reason because we are not married, my other previous Muslim landlord allow but charge a very high daily rate.Don't mind i ask any couple that is renting room to share their experience ? Good and Bad about it. Need more advice before I can actually make any decission. Thanks QUOTE(fongwan @ Apr 19 2013, 12:06 PM) thanks for the tips. I am working in North Bridge Road. Here is my 2rm worth
Some friends of mine recently got jobs in Singapore ( Degree Holder , 3 to 4 years experience , Industry - It, Marketting ), the salaries were offered referencing against their Malaysian Salary and Not their worth in singapore , They too it since they like Singapore more, since there is much exposure to many international organizations , But in my opinion, sure the salary is higher in Singapore, but their expenses are also expensive, rent and everything , personally i dont think its worth moving to singapore unless the offer is good by singaporean standards, that being said , still very tough to get a job there at the moment |

Although I suppose your friends are willing to take the sacrifice for some perceived benefit - stronger currency, safer living, etc. |
