Cool thanks for all the tip will try to do some survey.

Don't mind i ask any couple that is renting room to share their experience ?  Good and Bad about it. Need more advice before I can actually make any decission. Thanks

I sharing room with my GF, she come here once a while during the holidays. Landlady really welcome her every time, and ask her to come often and cook her lunch when I am working. You have to discuss with the owner before signing to see if they allow or not and how much. Some due to religion, personal reasons, and don't want a couple. My previous Muslim landlord don't allow due to religion reason because we are not married, my other previous Muslim landlord allow but charge a very high daily rate.

Here is my 2rm worth

Some friends of mine recently got jobs in Singapore ( Degree Holder , 3 to 4 years experience , Industry - It, Marketting ), the salaries were offered referencing against their Malaysian Salary and Not their worth in singapore , They too it since they like Singapore more, since there is much exposure to many international organizations ,

But in my opinion, sure the salary is higher in Singapore, but their expenses are also expensive, rent and everything , personally i dont think its worth moving to singapore unless the offer is good by singaporean standards, that being said , still very tough to get a job there at the moment sad.gif

if ur fren took the job based on their Malaysian salary, how much is the increment? 200%?
if getting 4k in Malaysia, then getting 4k in Sg it should still be fine.
but 4k rm n then 2k in singapore...damn, not worth it! even though in rm, u r getting close to 5k

Yes , they were getting paid in Malysia about 4k to 5k , and they got the salary in singapore between 3k to 3.5k, ,I know its low , but they said getting job in Singapore is very tough now , and they took it since to were getting a chance to work for major mnc's

That is low. $3k is barely above fresh grad salary scale in major MNC's. Although I suppose your friends are willing to take the sacrifice for some perceived benefit - stronger currency, safer living, etc.

Yes its true, they were getting some good benefits they mentioned , they major reasoning was that , at the moment the job market in singapore is quite bad, it seems there is a push from the government to restrict major jobs for singaporean and pr holders , I imagine this might not be the case with all industries though
