Guys,

I haven't been to Singapore for over a year now due to my busy schedule.

So I will be going there tomorrow for 5 days.
Which sim card should I get?
I am going to need around 100-200mb.

I am going to take a bus from BTS.
Never done that before because the last time I used to take bus from Time Square or Pudu between 2005-09.
Which bus company is reliable now?
And what is the price directly to Singapore?
The BTS website is pretty useless.

Cheers.

BTS?? TBS izit? brows.gif

i prefer settle these stuff myself.. dowan ask someone else to do

I don't think anyone here will be able to help you. As you can see in the previous pages, most of us here are unskilled workers - bank clerk, sakae sushi dishwasher, etc - only on Work Permit (and one of us even work as admin staff illegally with no pass). The other elite people I know about earning 6 digit monthly are all already PR status so they also won't know about PEP.

QUOTE(chokolato @ Apr 17 2013, 03:59 PM)
what is diff between Upon submission of each application vs upon issuance request?

Upon submission of each application An administrative fee of $70
Upon issuance request   Personalised Employment Pass – $150 per issue
Upon issuance request      Multiple Journey Visa (if applicable) – $30 per issue

ok my condition is this.
My previous job is P1, after i resign, they cancel my P1 and my new employer have to register a new P1 for me. I feel very troublesome la, so i feel wan apply this PEP so i no nit keep visit MOM and i can freely job hop without problem.

i will b collecting my new EP pass this weekend at MOM, can i submit the PEP form and get registered on this weekend itself?

will there be a new EP card? or i can use back the 1 that i gonna collect this weekend?

thanks
*
upon submission means that time you submit your documents, you pay when you hand in everything. if fail, they will songlap this $$.
upon issuance means after they approved it, you pay when you collect your PEP card.

Invest in SG blue chip stocks lah.
Buy gold you need place to keep, later kena curi. Or worst Geneva Gold case shocking.gif

Anyway just wondering what do you guys do with your savings in SG ? The FD rate here is doh.gif

1. thinking of buying some blue chip and get dividends but seems like foreigners need to have $5000 as deposit just to get a online trading account.
2. Become currency trader laugh.gif taking bags of money back... now RM is strong ... 2.457 compared to 4.478 a month ago
3. Don't think I can buy property here in SG
4. Don't think I can buy property in KL either....
others ?

Why not? hmm.gif You can buy property in Malaysia using your SG payslip for the loan application mah. Unless you are worried about the cannot own private property if you own HDB rule.

the cheapest private in SG is around $600K++. Can't qualify for HDB as I am not a PR, even if I am a PR, not a family unit.

the teres house in Puchong also now going for RM 700K++, how to buy ?
