Yea. I'm from KL. I studied A-Level. U mean they'll start e-mailing students regarding accomodation? Do u think I should try to apply for on-campus accomodation?
*
I see. Well, what I meant is... you need to apply for the accommodation, then they will start e-mail to those who applied in August...

If you still not sure whether to stay on-campus or off-campus, may be you can try apply first... later only decide la.. LOL

Btw, any one have those ads for off-campus accommodation, please e-mail to me at yhsua_2002@msn.com. Thank you. icon_question.gif

Oh ya, by the way, the sports complex in the university is well maintained or very run down? Do a lot people go there to swim or use the gym?

Thank you.

I see. I didn't get any notice through our email, which is why I thought it is not out yet. That's why I went to check at the website and see.

I'm going for the September intake and i have applied for the accomodation too. Yeah they said they'll reply in August so we wont get to know so soon.

From what I see its not very run down. I've seen it during my last visit on the open day and theres people using the gym even though its summer holiday. =D

Sounds like there isn't enough equipments for everyone? How about the swimming pool? Do a lot of ppl use it?

Oh btw, from what I read from this forum, the internet connection there seems bad. If I want to subscribe my own broadband? Does anyone have any recommendations? Celcom? Digi? Maxis? Izzi?

Thank you.

Swimming pool, there won't be say until very pack, but every day should have people. Unless occasionally Frisbee club members want to play Waterbee there. Then you can see many of us there playing.

Internet, hmm. If you are staying in the hostel, you can only use their Broadband service. No maxis allowed. Alternately, you can use Izzi, since it only works on wireless card, but I am not sure how good is the reception at semenyih.

You can apply for TM Hotspot, which you can use at buildings on campus, but not at the accomodation. The downside is that you need to travel to the yellow colour building to use internet instead of having privacy at your place.

sport complex is good.. except for the gym room.. equipment not well maintain due to some irresponsible dudes.. swimming pool not too big not too small.. enuf use lar.. unless u go during evenings.. will be quite pack sometimes..

Indoor: 2 squash court, 2 ping pong (table tennis) tables, 2 badminton court, 1 air-conded gym room, 1 non air-cond gym room (if u consider tat as gym room la ~_~)

Outdoor: 1 futsal field, 4 basketball courts 1 think, 1 swimming pool, dunno 2 or 4 tennis court (never been there), 1 football field

i left out anything? ha..
