Yesterday I went to the open day... and got some answers to my previous concerns.

Food -
Ate at the cafeteria yesterday, RM4.50 for a plate of friend rice. Luckily it wasn't RM8. Would prefer catering when I stay there.

Internet connection -
Still haven't found a perfect spot to surf. But at the 1st floor of the SA building looks OK. I heard there's a TM Net hotspot right?

How to go home (Melaka) using public transport -
I found out that many people used this way:
Seems like there isn't any direct route... Need hopping from one service to another.

I went to the open day yesterday to submit my application form....the lecturer checked my letter for 3 minutes...then he said 'hmm....I don't see a problem here...so i think we will print you a conditional offer letter now...' .  I thought the admission process would take 2 weeks to be done...this is way easier than what i expected. Admission form PAWNED!

Yeah... We people from Klang valley have the lowest priority in getting the on-campus one...

Damn, now that you mentioned, i almost forgot i'm from klang valley too. I live in cheras but i don't wanna drive to uni everyday. A two-way trip = 6 tolls, + petrol is RM2.70 per litre now.... I've already applied for the on-campus accomodation but i don't think i can get it....

despite being university of the year...its transportation sucks...the bus i mean...they should get thier own new bus..dont u guys think so?

I live in cheras too. Yup it is better to stay there because of the recent fuel hike. But, i do not encourage you to stay on-campus accomdation >.< try to find in TTS 5 ,4, 2 ... or maybe Bandar Sunway Semenyih ( 10min drive to Uni)
Totally agree.... They do not even have their own bus. I mean those with painted with University of Nottingham theme. >.<
But then, i dont really use it lol.. hehe >.< but it is better to improve it in order to preserve university's image ^^.

Nah I beg to differ. As long as the service is up to the notch then I'm fine with it. Do note that it's cheaper for the university to rent buses and they can rent more than they wanna buy or acquire one, if you get what I mean.

At the very least there's a mini chibi The University of Nottingham painted on the side of the buses.

The University imposed a rule that buses must contain at least a small logo and name of the university on the side and back of the bus.
