haha it's not pre-rooted. It's a way, shown by another dev, not Chainfire though, on how to root the Exynos variant. But agreed, will wait for CF method. Should be a whole lot easier.

One X was really lousy. I was like, close to buying the One X than the S3 during that period, and when i saw lots of users had various problems on the early batches, I changed my decision and went for the S3 and never looked back. Till now, no issues with my S3, and HTC before the One X was pretty solid, my XE is still goin strong till today.

I have 2 phones and I don't really like carrying 2 phones.... I like it all in one... How do you truly enjoy one phone if you have so many in hand?

I'd say wait for mskip and his toolkit... I find that easier....

the most i carry around is ios and android follow by windows phone...my main hobby is gadgets collector now... lolz.

I reiterate, anyone can post, this being a public forum but one should at least be wary of what one posts. But he is just remorseless. His last reply to my post is typical of it. And both you guys are now actually echoing what I have said 'ages' ago.

Well, if he persists, he will surely get more flak from others eventually. So, I am just standing by the sideline to observe unless he gets way overboard.

Was toying and still am, with the idea of getting an XZ but after reading so many adverse comments I am holding back. Since you own one, do you have any advice for people in my situation?

xz with stock rom -drawback :- subject to myself

1. speaker- output for speakerphone, music,movie...not loud enough.
2. bad viewing angle

I will most probably just ignore him from now on. No point wasting my time trying to reason with a bigot like him.

My only complaint is the poor audio quality through its speakers ; is even worse than Nexus 4. However I have installed an audio mod and it has improved tremendously but still loses out to say Note 2, Butterfly
The other minor issue which I have come to accept ( similar to Nexus 7) is the display quality - colors are not so vibrant and contrasts are not so great. You can see the difference if you are used to Amoled, HTC LCD displays. i have no problems with viewing angles as this I think only affect JDC display more not Sharp display as on mine. even if it is an issue to some, it is still a non issue to me
