Those who don't like samsung will always complain about its 'plastic' Personally I don't find anything wrong or poorer about it. Yes it does not look so high class but that is an unimportant issue for me Buying a phone with main consideration of looks will never be in my list And though is plastic it's build quality is good Coming from a user who had used most latest smartphone from apple htc n sony

QUOTE(WyjSwmW @ Mar 6 2013, 01:04 PM) I see those eye scrolling and smart stay features are a complete waste of battery life. It does not I have used it in S3 n Note2 Don't simply assume it waste battery without even testing it

Don't understand why some of you guys so concerned about the design. It is not like you want to show it off each time. To me the phone functions/features and reliability is more important. There are comments that S3 is ugly ( or fugly ?? often exhorted by that KuLi chap ) - I find it perfectly nice. So even if S4 is similar design cues as S3, I still think is acceptable These Samsung chaps are not dumb. I am pretty sure they have input in many hours behind their design decisions and as long as they meet the masses , I don't think they are concerned with those minority who wants a classier look. Basing on several blogs I have read, it will still be plastic and personally I find nothing wrong or poor about Samsung plastic quality ( having used S, S2, S3, Note and Note 2)

QUOTE(eszol @ Mar 12 2013, 10:40 AM) different people have different ways of what criteria they want to put in choosing their device. the experience, feature and dev support is number one for me Than you should seriously consider Google Nexus series

The S4 looks like following iphone strategy - minimalistic changes to design and keeping its signature designs of the S3/Note/Note2 with it

QUOTE(joytest @ Mar 14 2013, 08:58 PM) And I'd (and a host of others) be using that to extrapolate what goodness might come our way for the Note 3. I hope it is savory. Note 3 do interest me more especially with the reported larger display of 5.9 inch !!!

Android Central handson. My comments : Designwise - nothing amazing/exceptional - it still carries on S3/Note design signature It is in its software that is of interest. Again the additional software will not appeal to many people. But some are indeed refreshing new. Such people will say is unnecessary/bloatware. Those who use it will say is amazing. http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s4-hands-on

QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Mar 15 2013, 08:03 AM) nope but reports said that it will come in exynos octa or snapdragon 600 Depending on region : Processor: 1.9GHz quad-core processor / 1.6GHz octa-core processor As rumor earlier, I think here in Asia we should expect the 1.6GHz Exynos Octa Presentation was 99% on its software and just passing mention on its design/hardware specs http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s4-specsThis post has been edited by benny888: Mar 15 2013, 08:14 AM

Samsung just want to continue with their signature designs of s3/note. Take away the logo n you know is Samsung. Potential buyers expecting a drastic change will be dissapointed. A strategy adopted by many manufacturers. Is a matter of whether you like it or not. Time will only tell whether such a strategy will still work for Samsung. They are flithy rich n can just easily drop n upgrade to newer model within months .S4 is in its additional software n again its usefulness depends on user. QUOTE(HaoYuan @ Mar 15 2013, 09:04 AM) Design not much changes, haiks, what the hell

QUOTE(Long88 @ Mar 15 2013, 09:11 AM) so mr benny, would you like to give it a try(s4)? or you might skip it? just asking your opinion Definitely will not be early bird like what I did for s2,s3,note,note2 got all on day one Enough of Samsung for time being. Dissapointed with Sony n HTC previously , now resume learning to love it again I will probably try it after available say 3 months. Than probably bored with my xperia z already
