l understand that Exynos with quad A15 might be better, but are you guys worried that it might come with slower updates being the least popular version.

I think it's the other way around. Exynos is the main version while Snapdragons is the least one. International version is GT-I9500 and that's Exynos. http://www.mobilephonenews.org/samsung-gal...9500-benchmark/ This post has been edited by waveweaver: Apr 1 2013, 11:18 PM |

Its performance is known already if you care to Google it. Try heading to XDA, plenty of infos are there already. |

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Apr 1 2013, 08:14 PM) Oh m, how do you use 3 phones?? chainfire root method is better I have 2 phones and I don't really like carrying 2 phones.... I like it all in one... How do you truly enjoy one phone if you have so many in hand? I'd say wait for mskip and his toolkit... I find that easier.... QUOTE(girl83 @ Apr 1 2013, 10:58 PM) should be since samsung exynos on twitter confirmed octa support LTE but i9500 not support QUOTE(waveweaver @ Apr 2 2013, 12:02 AM) Ooo..the Octa oso got LTE version got a feeling like following s3 and note 2 trend, later pop out exynos version processor support LTE Like this need to wait till it available here. Hope not too late http://www.mobilephonenews.org/exynos-5410-supports-lte/ i rmbr reading that they have problem dealing with the power hungry octa , hence the delay in production now it makes me think should i wait for more review then only buy or be first to own S4 QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Apr 2 2013, 01:20 AM) chainfire root method is better why is chainfire method better? i dun see the diff. the toolkit uses odin too, just it automate the sequence onlyshould be since samsung exynos on twitter confirmed octa support LTE but i9500 not support got a feeling like following s3 and note 2 trend, later pop out exynos version processor support LTE |

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Apr 2 2013, 09:44 AM) the problem is we dunno if exynos lte sucks more battery or not I believe using Octa with BIG Little tech will have better battery life than Snapdragon but i still prefer to wait for more reviews as this phone gonna be my long term usage. I think there's no more big improvement to achieve after this. Screen already FullHD..procs already good. Maybe can improve in battery department. i rmbr reading that they have problem dealing with the power hungry octa , hence the delay in production now it makes me think should i wait for more review then only buy or be first to own S4 why is chainfire method better? i dun see the diff. the toolkit uses odin too, just it automate the sequence only |

QUOTE(sebastianX11 @ Apr 2 2013, 10:15 AM) theorically, Big little tech would save more batt but i will reserve my judgement until more concrete reviews i have the same opinion as yours. octa core, having 4 arm15 and 4 arm7... when running full power, it'll run on arm15, which performance top notch and power hungry. when idle or running small apps, will run on arm7.i scared it will end up like tegra 3 power usage, where not in use it can save juice, but when running in full, it zaps batt to no end and i dun believe this phone will be long term though i told my wife the same thing i agreed that mobile phone is reaching a stagnant stage ... so, conclusion, if you always playing games which require arm15 running most of the time, i can say your battery won't last long if for light user, then yes, your battery may last longer than other phone |
