I hit 1k in 1.5 weeks. 2nd day already 300.

I also feel the same when I go first service in Kinrara SC. I am sure that they are using Syntium 3000, but I am not sure if they are using 5w30 or 5w40. I did not go check back then because i was busy verifying if they pour in 4 litre or 3.9 litre at that time. At that time I thought the slugginess come from the excessive fuel amount. I will give them a call some day to verify. You should too.

Thanks for the feedback, will ask my sis to verify with the service center again. By the way, the 5w30 or 5w40 used for the engine really affect the acceleration  that much?? So which is the correct one to use??

From what I read in version 4 or 5 thread, the correct one is 5w30. They use syntium 3000 which is developed specially for Forte. All other Syntium 3000 out there is 5w40. I have yet to rectofy this too.

What about 1000 15w50...also fully sync..can use or not??

Go google and read about that is 5,30,40,10,50. Identify the difference n decide.

Of course can use. Mineral also can use. What grade also can use. But it affects performance la.

What's the rpm reading for 6 speed 1.6 version at 100 o 110 ?

mine is around 2600 rpm at 110km/h

How about the petrol used? 97 or 95 will affect the smoothest of acceleration?

I know you did not ask but just to share. 2.0's is about 2.3k rpm at 110km/h.

This is for my Forte 2.0 (4 speed)..not much different from the 6 speeder
