It is hard to peel off btw. |

QUOTE(future_owner @ Apr 8 2013, 11:29 AM) hi guys...i'm just wondering recently about our car special feature "warm centre console".... The hottest is our rear boot. Anything put inside the car boot after long journey of drive will be very hot . Anyway to reduce / prevent heat in the boot because if we put our laptop put inside there will kena spoilt with heat . Any suggestion ???any of u guys ever ask SC about this scenario....nowadays...it seems very2 hot....30 C plus during the day...the hot weather + warm centre console = Long Term Effect on gearbox..??? thanx for ur opinion... QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Apr 9 2013, 01:09 PM) That is what I read from don't know Version what in here. You have any other idea why they would want to put a clear sticker in there? Unless peel with force, the sticker doesn't come off. From what I understand, it is supposed to prevent any stone chip which is most vulnerable at that particular spot. I suppose the sticker is only meant to provide temporary protection, at least until the car is handed over to the owners but most owners just leave the sticker on, untouched. |

QUOTE(avengers88 @ Apr 9 2013, 11:41 AM) Yes bro, that sticker. Can be removed? Just peel it off? Dam, it has been sticking on my car for 7 months LOL~ QUOTE(craxors @ Apr 9 2013, 11:47 AM) Use this;![]() Tough glue stains can be easily removed using this. Can be found at Ace hardware (This small bottle cost around RM10, so use wisely!). It is safe on car paint, plastic, glass, ceramic, bla bla bla. Hi guys, I will need to ask if you guys have the same scenario.
This only happens on slopes, big ones or small ones. When you park your car, I am sure that every one will have their legs on the brake pedal before pushing the gear to P. After you have pushed to P, you pull hand brake, and release the brake pedal. For me, after I release my brake pedal on slopes, I always feel that the car will kneed towards the front. I first realised this when I park my car in my porch, with a small slope. I park my car with the car front facing DOWN that small slope (how big a slope in the car porch can be). When the pedal is released, the car kneed towards the front. At that moment, I thought it is gravity's work as the car front is facing down. It is only normal if you park your car in P and you did not pull your hand brake hard enough. I thought it is hand brake level issue hence I have asked SC to check. However, yesterday I experience something new. There is a new porch I parked in. This time is with the car front facing UP the slope. Logically, the car should move backward after I pulled hand brake (if not pulled hard enough) and release brake pedal. Instead, it kneed towards the front also. This got me thinking that the issue might not be the hand brake after all. Just wanted to know if any one has the same situation. I have yet to try to push the gear to N, wait for a while then only to P. Will try that later. |
