Is it normal that H1 is dimmer than H7?

Friend, you are driving at 90km/h in middle lane of kesas highway. You should give way if there other  want to drive fast. Middle lane is not meant for 90km/h. If the fanboy want to show off, let it be why want to race ? There are many road users as well.
Anyway this is the problem of Malaysian driving attitute not so considerate. Hope you are not agry this statement.

hi guys...i'm just wondering recently about our car special feature "warm centre console".... 

any of u guys ever ask SC about this scenario....nowadays...it seems very2 hot....30 C plus during the day...the hot weather + warm centre console = Long Term Effect on gearbox..???     especially those who always stuck in traffic jam....

Hmm. My 'warmer' is not really working. I did not really notice the warm effect. My left leg is usually resting on the console when I am driving. Coin box/ ashtray box is also 24/7 on the cup holder. Maybe mine is the new batch, just got the car lesss than one month ago.

What I got to know is that my middle console has already been pre-insulated in factory. Therefore heat is not noticeable. Mine is a 2.0 by the way. As for 1.6, it is not pre-insulated. The fact is still true as of last month, as my SA is good enough to offer to insulate it for me for free if I were to get a 1.6.

As I ask for quotation for both 1.6 and 2.0, in his offer, he stated the middle console insulator as one of the item for 1.6, but not for 2.0. So I asked why the insulator is not available for 2.0. He said that the insulator is already pre-fixed from the factory. No need to add. I really do not feel the hotness on my left leg and the coins in the coin box.

will check wif nearest SC (AZ World Car Services) when they got stock....my one is 1.6...

just to share smthg on my 10K service @ AZ World Car Services..besides the usual 10K service checklist...i also request them to check on the car alignment...they suggested me to add camber on RHS...so far...the ride is better then previously, been driving around 300 km wif camber on RHS...

and...i just pour in a bottle of CERATEC (200 km to date)...so far...idle rpm seem lower...engine seem to be more eager to rev (quite easy to achieve 4k rpm compare to previously without CERATEC...sorry can't seem to express quite right wif words....huhuhu..)....just sharing on what i have gone through.....

You are right. Forte 1.6 does not have this insulation for the center console like the 2.0.

that's because the exhaust CAT is there. Will have bit warm but won't HOT (depend how you define HOT/Warm)
Not really, AFAIK at least end of last year batch already 'improved'. For owner that still doesn't like the 'warm' they will add another layer....actually can DIY. 2.0 same also

Sorry, what's a camber and where is it added to? At the front engine?

Also, what's the CERATEC for and where can I get it?

hi bro..thanx for the input...actually for highway driving..i'm not too concern about the heat from centre console becoz i think when cruising...got enuff air flow around that area...thus should be ok i think.....my concern is when we drive in traffic jam situation..when there is no air flow around the exhaust there...scared it will effect the gearbox in the long run.....

another thing is....for me...i drive quite a distance daily....roughly around 120 km per day....for me that a LOT of km....huhuhuhu...so need to take care of the engine and the transmission better...

anyway...i have ask AZ World to inform me when they have stock for the insulator and installed it as soon as possible...

aiyo brader.. CR-Z and Inspira 2.0 few times cari pasal with me before also lor.. always kena cucuk at MEX highway towards KLIA airport..

was decided to have a bit fun time with Mitsu celup Inspira 2.0 at midnight where road are long stretch straight and wide empty, I pedal to metal (not even using my paddle shift) and I went ahead from that Mitsu celup behind about 4 car spacing.. well it cannot catch up my top speed at 200km/h and his one only about 185-190km/h. 1 minute later I saw him began to release his full throttle, and so I did too.. maybe he realised how horrible his car pick-up and top speed due to Mitsu's not well engineered legendary sluggish CVT gearbox. Then he entered into middle lane beside me, winded down his window and he raised up his hand outside from the window (what does that mean.. ?)

Lesson to myself and everyone here.. don't play play with top speed unless you've a big titanium balls and you don't feel like living in this world any longer.. small road imperfection at 200km/h can cause my Forte goyang like Ogawa lantun2 massage machine.. Sweet spot is 160kmph but please do that only if traffic is very clear in a long straight stretch.

P/S : please don't say new See-vick cabin is a junk.. I likey the dashboard design and layout very much except the hard thin cheapo plastic material used..

guys about the warm centre console, it really do exist... i was wandering why is my left leg suddenly so hot and the cup holder section where i left my USB drive there it was HOT!!! i tot i was too hot for my car even after i tinted    but what is the purpose of it ya? hahahah...

and can we actually convert the speednavi into papago? not used to the user interface of speednavi... wont void the warranty if we convert it right?

not sure if any batch of 1.6 is center console is insulated.
yes or no, just call/walk in if you feel yours is hot, most sc should have ready stock.

Is this insulation FOC if we request the SC to install as my car only 3 months old ? please advise. TQ
