QUOTE(Wedchar2912 @ Nov 13 2025, 02:25 PM) should always try to get the employer to pay you the employer's contribution in the form of EPF contribution. It is tax free for you, the employee... (so if at a high bracket like 25%, that saves you almosty 4% income tax based on gross salary) QUOTE(Ayambetul @ Nov 13 2025, 04:22 PM) Yeah. I did not take the offer, but just want to share that employers usually already account for that EPF payment as part of our pay. I think some people will prefer own because they can directly spend the money. But for me I'm looking for more of a permanent role at that time. Wedchar2912 liked this post

QUOTE(bombacat @ Nov 13 2025, 10:50 AM) Someone need to re-audit their maths in school.Everyone knows employers contribution comes from "employee paycheck". HR manager already took care of the calculation before making salary offer to any employee. If the HR manager didn't include it, most likely, the boss won't keep him there very long |

If the HR manager didn't include it, most likely, the boss won't keep him there very long I have been a hiring manager... trust me... if can get away with underpaying the new hire, the firm would and all is fair.... justanovice and boyboycute liked this post

One side people maximize their 100k yearly limit, and keep asking for higher.... Another side, saying I'm not enough $$$ to survive monthly.... So seeking more withdrawal from EPF account.... One more side, why EPF shifting goal post.... Making those with 1mil above cannot withdraw their $$$.... Finally.... Another group of people keep saying why EPF giving so low dividend.... I want to withdraw & invest elsewhere that can outperform everything..... Basically No one for all solutions.... Different people different opinions & objectives..... btw... Still no news on Q3 2025 EPF results as for now.... hondaracer, justanovice, and 1 other liked this post

Just to confirm my understanding.
For >55yo conventional saving, no matter how much one withdraws and deposits, dividend is actually calculated daily based on the balance at the end of the day. But all dividend is only credited into account once per year. Am I correct? This post has been edited by Vickyle: Nov 16 2025, 10:11 AM |
