At page 63 of this thread, benny888 replied that someone changed the screen for RM400+ Which is quite cheap...a Samsung Note 1 screen costs RM700.

How did the screen cracked? Dropped the device or something?

I see...well I think it's best to go to ASUS service centre for the job. Doing it elsewhere might void the warranty (if it's still under). And also, there's no telling how competent/professional the 3rd party repairer u sent it to.

Yes and since ASUS has international warranty basically you can just send it to any ASUS.

I bought my Nexus 7 on 31/12/12, the speaker blown after 2 days so I took it for one-to-one exchange with the dealer, but the speaker blown again after a weeks even though I kept nexus 7 in silent mode and avoid using the speaker. Called Asus SC but no one answer, facebook them but nobody replies, disappointed

That sounds like the nexus is really quality issue....makes me worry about my unit......is yours Nexus 7 or 7C (with cellular)??

Speaker quality seems big issue in this N7
Luckily mine has no such problems till now n already coming to 6 months usage

It's a rather large app. Just leave it alone with the charger plugged in for a while

Mine blown 3 days after i got my N7C, nv bother to go claim it.. just paired it with BT in car.. and jambox at home..

I guess I'm lucky that i have no speaker issue also,i always play highest and active use

i downloaded RR3 but with different approach
the data file i use download manager on PC to download (can get from china sites)
then copy everthing into N7, then run the app, leave it for a while (it want to download some more files) then voila, done.

Hate to ask this . i have root and uses CM10 rom and everything goes well except when i add another users @ Kids .. i have problem in accessing it as it prompt me say truncelent pro etc .. anyone can guide me or link me to particular links which i can read up

Hi all. I have successfully update my N7C to 4.2.2 and rooted it. However, before i wipe off all my data (when i revert back to stock), i use titanium backup (free version) and copy the whole titanium backup folder to my PC. Can anyone advice how do i restore my apps back to N7C?

I have used a LG Nexus 4 for 1.5 months and absolutely love it. So I I wanna buy a Nexus 7 32GB Wifi only (I dont know the price but maybe around RM900?). However, i have read some website articles that say Google I/O in May gonna Launch new Nexus 7.7

Articles say Nexus 7.7 will be:-

1. same price as N7;
2. built by LG;
3. with 7.7 inch screen;
4. conflicting articles say will launch 8GB only or 16GB / 32GB.

Do you think I should wait another 2 months? I will want 32GB but not 16GB or less.

And I want Wifi only. why buy with cellular when can thethering from Handphone data plan?

Actually I am not urgently in need of it. just that my children and wife now monopolise my iPad already. And also itchy to have a Google Tablet experience.
