Personally I prefer snapdragon as well. Tegra seems to be just a hype.

Tegra "exclusive" is just a nVidia's marketing gimmick. A lot of games that's THD exclusive have a non THD version that plays just as well. It's just a matter whether the graphic settings is on low or limited.

I disagree. Why would smartphone or cellular capable tablets manufactures want to use a chip that doesn't have inter grated cellular support when there's other chips in market that's cheaper and track proven? Sure there's the new nVidia i500 modem but as said, it's still not intergrated and its all theoretically proven. Thus far no major brands plans on carrying Tegra4 except Toshiba, opting for S4 instead.

You misunderstood, I did not say that no manufacturer wouldn't like it. I implied that there are better options seeing that you mentioned smartphones manufacturers. Additionally, SoC defines as System on Chip, an IC that integrate a system ( in this case, a mobile system ) on a single chip . It's pretty ironic for you to refer Tegra4 as a SoC when it clearly lacks an important component in mobile computing.

-Furthermore Tegra4 architecture seems to be moving towards multiple GPUs, which in their theory would be improving the gaming sector. That also means that game developers should write their codes differently again to cue the execution of tasks to take advantage of the "SoC". Therefore comes the THD exclusive games. It's not bad. Tegra3 a good chip with overhyped 'Tegra' marketing gimmick.
For example, GTA:3 released a THD version, which contained full graphic function and details. Blurs, textures, details etc. In other versions, a lot of these additional graphical options are disabled. However, some phones like Samsung S2 ( what more S3) could handle the full version without a problem. But because it's marketed as a "Tegra exclusive", people tend to believe that only Tegra3 could produce good graphics however in reality it's the full version where else non-Tegra devices is receiving the "lite" version.

Depends where you get it, go claim warranty. If newegg, go back to them. They can do a one on one exchange. Else you have to check out Asus SC. The one I know is in Lowyat Plaza. I heard cases where they actually gave one on one but its usually sent to them, they check, go home wait for 2 weeks for repairs.
