QUOTE(n8210 @ Feb 8 2013, 11:49 AM) I discovered fake yoobao with legit 20 digit serial code. What they do is they replace the batteries inside. Example: Oh.. then i better open it and see whether it is fake or genuine Yoobao products...Thanks for sharing bro.11,200 mah should have 4 x 2800mah inside, but instead they give you 4 x 1800mah batteries inside, which is only 7200mah. |

I have received the update but I haven't install it coz the Nexus rootkit has yet to release v1.6.3.. so i wait first. Currently my Nexus 7C has tethering function which i flashed a zip file from Xda-developers forum. Dont wanna lose the function after upgrading to V4.2.2. |

QUOTE(ralph_d @ Feb 21 2013, 03:05 PM) oo.. yours are 7C.. mine is wifi ver. Thanks for your reply download voodoo's "OTA rootkeeper" from playstore, backup your root, update, and then restore root again with voodoo. i didn't flash any zip file into my n7, so can't confirm will erase off the tether function. you might want to wait until those geniuses at xda released 4.2.2 compatible hotspot function then you update. Yeah in view i need to use the tethering function for sharing the internet to notebook and mobile phone then better wait until the new zip file has been released by XDA geniuses There again, the notification for update icon on the N7C very disturbing though for me...haha.. no choice, just have to bear with it. |

hmm.. seems the speaker really a defect item after all. I hope ASUS improve their speaker quality for the new model.
Thus, I always play at 70% or less on the volume after seeing so many user here has the speaker problem. |

Thx a) download rootkit from this link http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/ b) Follow instruction to root your Nexus c) after rooting, download the tethering zip file from enable tethering zip d) do not unzip it and just save it to your PC e) Run rootkit f) Click on "Launch" button under "Advance Utilities" g) Another menu will appear, tick on "File from this computer" and click "Flash Zip" button h) Select the zip file you downloaded just now and start flash. i) wait and follow on screen instruction... j) once your nexus reboot 2-3 times, you are done. Now you can see "tethering and personal hotspot" under Wireless and Network settings. Enjoy!! Disclaimer: Root at your own risk. The above is the steps I taken for tethering function of Nexus 7 and no further responsibility will be held by me if any damage caused to your device. |

hi all, I am yet to update my N7C to 4.2.2 and the message kept popping up at the top left screen.
Currently i'm on 4.2.1 rooted (with Wug's Nexus 7 root toolkit v1.6.2, older version) and flash with "MOD][4.2.1/4.2][JOP40D/JOP40C] Tethering/Wifi Hotspot for the Nexus 7 3G" from XDA-developers forum. Anyone can advice how do I upgrade to 4.2.2 without loosing my data/apps in the N7C? Thank you very much for your assistance. |

Hi all. I have successfully update my N7C to 4.2.2 and rooted it. However, before i wipe off all my data (when i revert back to stock), i use titanium backup (free version) and copy the whole titanium backup folder to my PC. Can anyone advice how do i restore my apps back to N7C?
Thank you. |
