QUOTE(akimzz @ Apr 19 2013, 06:33 PM) Ya..ya..ya..Engine Oil level indicator..in manual mention the oil level can be shown at display panel..erm.. There's a continues system check going on all the time which is fed back to ECU. Should the oil level drop low, a OIL light flashes on the small display screen in between the instrument cluster, audio signal is triggered and a OIL LEVEL LOW message displayed on the MFD. This can come on anytime as long as the ignition is on. A random system check from the cockpit can be done anytime with the engine running. Momentarily press the check button below the speedo meter. CHECK OK comes on after the test if no faults. Final and most conclusive oil check is the manual visual dipstick. |

The ride will be harsher with thinner tyres, but it'll have a bit hetter handling. The thinner tyre's sidewall will not sway as much as the thicker sidewall, thus u'll have more control, but sacrifice on comfort.
Entering a pothole on malaysian roads with a thinner tyre will absolutely be harder than with a thicker tyre. Plus it can damage the rims. This post has been edited by x800: Apr 21 2013, 09:36 AM |

My report on 2500km inspection
Service orders requested: 1. Left pull & steering vibration after 130km/hr 2. Smelly cabin even though ON the internal circulation 3. Rear passenger leather seat sidewall have "paint" mark Results: 1. They said cannot do ask me to go outside tyre shop to do alignement and balancing 2. They said no issue... 3. They remove the "paint" mark As a customer, I seriously feel that incompetency of this so called new blue box For item 1, after I bring my car to Tyre shop, they told me my front wheel Tyre is actually not in good shape and cant do proper balancing. Then have to swap 1 of the seriously affected tyre with spare. Go to highway pump >130km/hr no more steering vibration... My advise to new car owner, go to do the tyre alignment and balancing once get your car to avoid unnecessary wear off on the tyre... |

If I'm not mistaken, during 2500km inspection u can get it FOC. |

QUOTE(kob3bryant @ Apr 21 2013, 12:14 PM) Yes. The tyre shop said our tyre is not so good. They already see a lot of "defect" for this brand and model. Previous model they claimed is better in term of build quality...dunno how true is that but I witness myself the thread is not balance visually during rotation... |

That's why it's called low profile not thinner profile. The word thinner completely put me off. Yes ofcourse high profile tyres are more comfortable than low profile. The comfort is at the expanse of handling. Yes I had already decided on 50 series when time to change.
