thanks bro...for tinting they recommended the ( NTX 6-6MIL BK SAFETY FILM ) warranty 8yrs and i dont know abt this tinting..so i need someone know abt this and im not sure what brand the tinting...price is RM2400 and they provided voucher RM200. please guys help me on this. thanks

Try not to go to those recommended tinting from SA. They earn alot from there, which means u r paying the commission to ur SA on behalf the tinting shop. At that price, u can get high end tinted like 3M or VKool already.
The brand u mentioned, never heard before. I don't think it worth that price.
3M - Around Rm1800
Huper Optic - Around Rm1700
VKool - Around Rm 2200
However, the above price I mentioned, doesn't come with safety film. Normally, safety film doesn't provide high end heat protection.

Agree with jfcheong. SA will insist for us to go with their tinting shop which i've never heard before and quoted me around rm1400 warranty 7 yrs. I went for 3m instead i got piece of mind.

I'm surprised to hear you having doubts on this car over such an small issue!

As I mentioned earlier, I was pretty surprise when I got to know about this and plus my current car manufacture SC has everything under one roof. So for all sudden it triggered my sense of comparison but of course just like what you said, It is just a small issue.

I can't remember what kind but it cost me rm1600 w/out the safety. There are 3 kinds, the crystalline which will cost at rm2400, then mine, the last one cost rm788. It differs on the ir and heat penetration. Workmanhip very good. The shop is 3m authorised dealer located opposite subang parade.

Try to look for Groupon , I got mine for RM 380, Rikecol from Japan, top up 200 extra for a more high spec tint for front and back, so total RM 580.

Thanks for sharing bro, I am currently using Vkool 40 for my current car and the heat rejection is very good but not dark enough, I have to tint second layer to make it darker. Now I was thinking of trying other tinting brand when I get my new lion.

If u want darker tint with good heat rejection, u can try Huper Optic. 40% visibility. I am using this on my 408.

Thanks for sharing bro, how much you got it for your lion and where is the tinting shop located? If you can pm me the contacts that would be great. Wanted to do some survey first before deciding on which tinting brand to go for. =)

Haven't tried Georgetown SC. I believe even the small PBB has a decent customer waiting room with free coffee and wifi. On my 1st inspection,I picked up my car 15minutes after it was ready. I was too busy with my laptop on wifi in the waiting room...hehehe! biggrin.gif

All my years of experience with French products,I notice they concentrate on serious and important issues. Those simple or easy stuff is out sourced. Not everything is done under one roof. This way they are able to focus their resources on pushing the envelope and being innovative!

Dude, Does the shop provides good tints if you buy from Groupon? Scared because of the cheaper price thus they give low end tints..
