QUOTE(corad @ Jul 10 2013, 10:49 PM) went from 0.5 Mbps > 4 Mbps > 8 Mbps in 3 months. Have to say, if you're in S'wak / Borneo stick with the 4Mbps !! barely any difference, most speedtests gives average of ~5mbps ... regardless if you're on 4 or 8 Mbps package Ping is also terrible. Every server is 200+ for BF3 ... TF2 has the occasional 50+ if Brunei hosts. Have contacted TMNet numerous times over the past 5 months but still getting the same speeds. where are you from? and you did apply 8Mbps? if your hard cap still at 5120, with a 8Mbps account I believe you have a constant average speed at around 565kB/s with a 4Mbps account at 5120 hard cap usually get average 475kB/s and up to 565kB/s unless they really can give you a hard cap more than 5120 maybe 6000-10000 then you may get 8Mbps

I am told that I am the 1st 8mbps customer signed up for hypptv in my area, gave me a pack of hari raya goodies bag and took my picture together with the staffs whilst holding the form. Feel like the celebrity at the moment hwahaha

I took up the offer and a TM contractor came to do the set up in Jan 2013. The modem config page shows a cap of 10Mbps. Not sure if this is the same as hardcap ?
