guys, want to ask. if the p2p being throttled. how about the natural speed for direct download? how about the speed for games? is it as fast as 5mb unifi? let's say i use this line to download game for ps3 or play games online, does it reach the potential speed of 8mb?

last week upgrade my tmnet package frm 1mbps to 8 ...after few days used, sddenly my download speed drop back to 1mbps.. i try call tm n they said my house not suport...whats wrong wif tmnut..

10 euros a month, 500gb server and you can do whatever you want with it.
Neeed to learn very basic stuff and a lot of guides on setting up.
Once they are setup,can use no problem for a long time.

my ping to any local speedtest servers are around 45ms. bukit beruntung rawang. i suspect my line is using interleaved. then i remember some of my old modem can change between interleaved and fast path but forgot the model already. does anyone currently using that capable modems?

ADSL2+ modulation is by default, interleaved.

You can try changing your modulation to G.dmt or T1.413 which will put you on Fast Path, cutting up to 20ms in latency to game servers.

cant handshake with t1.413 but g.dmt can. ping still the same though. any idea?

went from 0.5 Mbps > 4 Mbps > 8 Mbps in 3 months.

Have to say, if you're in S'wak / Borneo stick with the 4Mbps !! barely any difference, most speedtests gives average of ~5mbps ... regardless if you're on 4 or 8 Mbps package

Ping is also terrible. Every server is 200+ for BF3 ... TF2 has the occasional 50+ if Brunei hosts. Have contacted TMNet numerous times over the past 5 months but still getting the same speeds.
