i just upgraded 4mbps 20may because last time i ask 8mbps available my area tm say not support not avilable
they cap 5mb 30may

can u check my line so can support 8mbps or not ????

May i know if this 8MB lne supports torrent d/l? Last time i was on 4MB, but cannot torrent, then downgrade to 1MB online then can torrent. I dun want to upgrade back to 8MB then find out kenot torrent oso ... sigh ...

back to basic 100kb and drop to 10kb

guys i have not been in malaysia for over a year, did streamyx block torrent? i am using 8mbps package, hence i am here, but torrent speed never goes beyond 40kbps

just take note that, it doesn't mean all area streamyx users have been p2p throttled


sometime by some chance if you get the ip address in some ranges that is not p2p throttled

that is why you get fast or max almost all the time everytime you download torrent



also take note that 512k/1Mbps/2Mbps usually share the same ip ranges, different with 4Mbps and 8Mbps

and that maybe why you may often get p2p throttled ip after changed packages

it doesnt mean you will not be able to get good ip anymore


im 4Mbps user, still able to get good ip and keep it as long as possible until next dc

hi wanna ask something more then 3 month ago i've try to subscribe this 8mb package the TM sent their RNO to my house to check the line. Tested 8mb package and found out that 8mbps is attainable using the Optimus tester. Speed is cap 8192kbps SNR margin is excellent above 20db (Download & Upload) and line attenuation is below 10db(Download & Upload), Speedtest dot net (790+ Kbps 40~50ms latency) and the RNO said that tomorrow he will write an email to approve the application after several days he call and said 8mbps is not supported. when i ask him why? he said have to wait for the product lunching (semenyih). waited 3 month already no lunching whatsoever is done even when i call the RNO he is not picking up the phone sms no answer, ive call 100 they say that RNO said on his report it not applicable, go to TM Point Muzium (Kuala Lumpur) for clarification no avail but ive do receive a call from the TM Point staff telling me to stop calling the 100 cause she is afraid that her KPI will be slash because of this problem.Can anyone can suggest to me in what to do? waiting for unifi maybe till 2020 then will it is available in semenyih area. wanna buy house in KL area but it is not in my pay range. again it will be a great help to me is anyone can give any kind of suggestion in how to deal with this problem. Line Rate dan SNR Margin mmg terbaik tu, pasti boleh upgrade ke 8mbps.. try upgrade online..aku berjaya upgrade online walaupon call 100 dan operator bgtau tak support 8mbps..

NOW 8Mbps available at Tanjong Malim...selected area only...please PM
