guys, want to ask. if the p2p being throttled. how about the natural speed for direct download? how about the speed for games? is it as fast as 5mb unifi? let's say i use this line to download game for ps3 or play games online, does it reach the potential speed of 8mb?
thanks! |

Hey guys,
Just drop by here and would like to ask a question. Anyone here play BF4? And by using 8mb streamyx, do you find it difficult to play the game? Thanks! |

QUOTE(squall0833 @ May 12 2014, 01:09 PM) Used to be 20+dB for SNR. so the higher SNR the better?is that before upgrade to 8Mbps? or already on 8Mbps? if before upgrade, then what speed you were upgrading from? 1Mbps? 4Mbps? cos raising hardcap speed always reduce snr rates if already 8Mbps, was fine but now getting low snr, then it could be wiring issue or problem at TM's side |

QUOTE(squall0833 @ May 14 2014, 01:49 PM) yeah if we get not so good rate for both, what should we do? Call 100?normally snr is more than 15 for stability best if you have 20+, but too high also not good? but attenuation lower is better if snr high but attenuation also very high like 50 above, also not good higher they set the speed rate, snr goes lower, attenuation may go higher or on line quality or interruptions or the copper line length |

QUOTE(squall0833 @ May 14 2014, 04:00 PM) as long as you have the right speed and stable How about this?then it's fine, doesn't really matter if rates are not so good if you have problems then should call them see what they can do for you, if they couldn't fix it due to too far or technical issue, mostly ask you to downgrade for lower speed Downstream Upstream SNR 25.3 23.3 db Line Attenuation 12.8 7.0 db Data Rate |
