No wonder when I play an MKV file with AC-3, I can't hear sound.

I tried "My Media" then point to my computer's shared folder and don't know why it only list out certain movies and some movies simply hidden from view, can't find it.

I also tried look for my Network share (other shared folder on my PC's D: drive), this HyppTV box just can't list out this share. I was playing movies from my PC this way using WD TV Live, but it's ok, this is not important.

Low resolution still better than my situation.
I collected the box on May 21st, received the login password on May 22nd...
but until *now*, the box still won't accept my login ID/password, always get error 201008 (incorrect user name or password). Called HyppTV support hotline almost everyday until today I won't f**king call then anymore, gave up, fed up with this kind of service.

When a girl from TM called me and say to offer me this free HyppTV trial I say I don't want, she ask why don't want it is completely free... blah blah blah... Now that I accepted their offer and spent nearly 1 hour waiting at TM to get my name registered, they still playing waiting game with me!

If tomorrow (Monday) they still can't fix it, I will pack it all up and throw it back to TM Point on Tuesday! This is really terrible service I've ever see!

You are right, only some files get displayed when streaming from network even though the files that do not get displayed are supported formats, no idea why, the media player software on the box is not the best around, still have some bugs.

what is the contract period for streamyx 8mbps?@@

I dont think a contractor would entertain as this is out of their job range

But who knows the contractor introduce you someone that can settle?

Oh no... with the Hypp TV now they have started selective "traffic shaping" again, my torrent speed is now throttled down to 20-30kbyte/sec only, from the unthrottled speed of 850-950kbyte/sec previously. Speed of other items are okay.

yea they start shaping traffic about a few days ago looks like have to buy vpn again. 1 weird thing happen if turn on torrent any other application that using custom port will also be effected example port 11000. if bandwidth problem, only 10 ~ 30 kbps used by torrent but the program is showing offline, after turn off torrent a few minutes later then it is OK weird really weird....

i got this free trial too & happy to set up with my wifi but unfortunately the streaming is super slow with my 8mbps subcripction.
So yesterday i go buy 2 TPlink powerline adapter homeplug 1 is connect to my broadband router another 1 i connect the ethernet cable to the HyppTV STB & i was ask for key in the pppoe username & password ….well after i key in my streamyx username & password….damn there still don have any internet connection… any idea dude?

wow ur guys torrents speed so fast? mine only 15KB/s to 100KB/s after i upgrade my 4mbps to 8mbps!!!

Check the Speedtest.net is 8mbps... but when go tmnet website do speedtest it was only 2mbps to 7mbps

Had been email to tm...they have call me sayin tat the technician will call me within 24hrs , it was bullshit now had been 3 days pass still nvr receive any call!

Any 1 here experiance the download speed same as me when using utorrent to download thing?

I'm tired saying this, P2P is throttled since 2008 and lots of people seems ignorance about it.

but few 2 months back when i was 4mbps my utorren tdownload speed was around 100kbps to 300kbps lei....weird lo
