CFM just cancelled my complaint about TM thank you surprise and marked it as junk. They told me to contact TM so I guess they also like idgaf now.

Luckily CFM don't mention you if you don't like the surprise, it is not the complusory must take the surprise.

Cause I only entered my phone number for my CFM report.

EDIT: Counter back them by saying you already referred to TM and TM support tech at its Live Chat confirmed there is no speed upgrade for streamyx users. Only pointless webe discount, voucher and hypptv which are irrelevant to broadband improvement plan. Provide CFM with the screenshot of the live chat. (Can be found throughout the other thread at /k)

Guys... 2 things..

1) I'm in kajang using 8mbps for 3 years now.. last 1 week no internet and homeline. They said there's some major power issue. Is anyone else having the similar issue? Getting irritated now.

2) I'm paying RM169 for 8mbps.. I'm hearing people paying RM140 for the same speed.. how do i get my price changed?

during sign-up I was asked to pick a hypptv package (I think it was along the line of malay/chinese/indian bundling).

didn't pay much attention back then because my aim was the 8mb/s and not replacing astro.

so when contract is up I strolled to a random tmpoint and asked to unsub hypptv.

then only I learnt there's basic channels and there's the add-on that I unsubscribed.


- all hypptv channels that are and might be of interest to me are all preview channels, requiring extra subs for each.

- I took readings - with an 's' - even for sd channels, it consumes ~5mb/s on a best effort 8mb/s !

Constant disconnects, is it my router or ISP?
I keep getting these random disconnects every so often, I used to think it was my ISP, but I've noticed a few things and I think it may be my router instead. Whenever I have these periods of being unable to connect, I've noticed that the router's setting page at 192.168.1.1 will not work at all.
