Too expensive for those who earn less than RM2000 per month.

Currently cheapest unifi is RM 179 (RM190 after 6%GST).

RM149 (unifi 5Mbps) was old package. It was no longer offered by TM.

Standard streamyx rate?
RM 120 = 1Mbps
RM 130 = 2Mbps
RM 140 = 4Mbps
RM 160 = 8Mbps

Unless if you count the august to december 2016 streamyx promo package....

Then:
RM120 = 2Mbps
RM130 = 4Mbps
RM140 = 8Mbps

Well, unifi has higher upload speed than streamyx.

Beside, your 149 package will get upgraded to 10Mbps next year.

No speed upgrade for current subscribers of streamyx .
Simply price reduction to the so called promo price I mentioned just now for next year.

Meanwhile, only unifi subscribers will get speed upgrade at their current package price.

Maybe no port?
Maybe you live too far from the nearest DSLAM?
Maybe you will get lower SNR --> resulted in lower attainable speed or random disconnection?

First thing, at TM center, they will tell you if that particular package (plus adsl port) is available.

Well, for 4Mbps and 8Mbps, when you go apply it at TM center, they will send technician to your house and measure the SNR + attenuation rate using a device to verify if your line can run at 8Mbps properly.

If your line can't handle 8Mbps, they may suggest you 4Mbps plan instead.

Short story, ipv4 and ipv6 have its own routing.

And...in streamyx case....youtube ipv6 connectivity is throttled to 50kb/s during certain hours.

We don't even know what is criteria for streamyx users selection and location of upgrade.
