ya lo, actually i think work in telco environment is like tat, the technology changes so fast, i learn today but tomolo no use de. Dunno whether worth or not~~ Some time i really hope to spend some time to study some books, but i really find no time to catch up!! For those who r not a fast learner, he must feel very tough!

Thursday, July 12, 2007: Reliance Communications Ltd has awarded Huawei Technologies Co Ltd a network expansion contract, worth over $200 million. Under the agreement, Huawei would supply and provide deployment services for CDMA and GSM base stations, including BSC and switches, and help create all-IP next generation network infrastructure.

I was called for interview as product engineer mainly in software and apllication. May I know anyone of u hv attended the interview ? What kind of interviews ? Is it technical one?

Huawei is bigger. It doesn't mean listed in big. Those big company with a lot of cash doesn't need to go listing. Look at NTT Japan, when they decided to go listing have such a strong IPO. However, the record was smashed by ICBC bank in China who finally decided to go listing this year. And they hold the highest IPO listing now.

Hi

Can i know..issit only those with technical background i.e. IT, engineering and read & write chinese have high chances of getting hired by huawei?

Me, i totally have no technical background..graduate in business, been working in insurance company all this while..and i'm english educated..i wanna look for non-technical positions in huawei..

i guess chances pretty slim, huh? especially i cant read and speak chinese well! sad.gif
