Hi nyunyu,

Try do a factory reset and test on different device see it is still same or not.

If the signal are not the same as what you have tested last time then you can send it for warranty claim.

Thank you

Hi LcBoy135z,

If not mistaken, you should be able to change the language to English at the top under the firmware version.

Thank you

I am having a big problem here...I bought RTN12HP with the intention to setup 2 wireless network, one for Guest and one for Staff. I need to connect to the existing LAN network which already hv Internet gateway. However I found that I cant control Guest for Internet only...users in Guest wireless still can access anything in customer network...ASUS RTN12HP is not flexible at all...it cant work in existing network environment? How can I control the access of Guest wireless users to only access Internet? Note:there is no connection in LAN. only WAN is connected to the network as gateway

Does it means that if I setup as AP mode, I cant use the feature of multiple SSID where Guest network cant access Intranet? In AP mode, only the WAN is connected to network(existing customer LAN and gateway router). There is no point i set "disable intranet" bcoz the LAN is unused!
Can you guys help me out here? Did I bought the wrong router...but it says can support multiple SSID!!

Does N16 supports POE (power over Ethernet)? Also, Does it support bridging/repeater mode? My firmware version is 9.0.0.4.353.

Otherwise, which asus extender do u recommend that is best to connect my router A (5th floor) to router B (ground floor)?

Hi
Bought a RT-N14U yesterday. Since installation, has been auto resetting every 4-5 minutes with PC running torrent, without torrent it resets every 2-3 hours. The message was IP or port number has changed!!
Have tried 4 versions of firmware from Asus, 3004.322/3004.356/3004.372/3004.370, no help.
Today Did a factory reset, now it can't even connect to Unifi anymore. Timeout when connecting to WAN during wizard setup.
Try with my old Dlink D615, work well, so no problem with Unifi.

Anyone have a clue ? is there another fw to try.
Thanks.

ASUSmy,

1. Where do you check in the router settings page for the internet connection uptime (not the router uptime) information?

2. Is there some sort of detailed graphs/charts information for data usage for the day/week/month like in the Tomato firmware? I know there's a Traffic Monitoring tab but the information there is quite limited.

3. With reference to the above, the real-time traffic monitoring doesn't seem to be working with the Firefox browser. The data only appears through IE. Any idea why and how to solve this?

Change all wan and LAN settings. After disabling Nat Accelerator , been stable for an hour. Hope that's the cause.

I got a problem with my Asus DSL-N12E to replace my old DLINK modem router, wireless connection keeps on dropping while surfing the net what a bummer, is it the settings problem? interference? modem problem? tried different wireless configurations, surfing half way but still drops. Later tried to connect back to wireless and it fails to connect.

Any idea?

Hi maya9090,

Nope, the RT-N16 does not support POE and it only have router and AP mode. Currently we don't have s device that can cover until 5th floor. Even if it has signal, the data rate will be very low.

It is either you use a repeater on second floor to repeat the signal from ground floor to 5th floor.

For best data rate for 5 storey house, cabling will be a good option to consider.

Thank you

Tried messaging you via private message but you seemed to have missed it - What's the deal on the PCE-AC68? Was told that it'd come early-October so I'd appreciate an update so I can actually get my useless AC66 replaced.

Cheers.

Edit: Asus SG rep suggests mid to end october? I guess that's the slated ETA?

Hi Morpheus81,

Yes, you can downgrade back to lower firmware.

If can do try to get the system log from the router to help us check what is the problem with the firmware before you downgrade it.

And I will PM you my e-mail address.

Thank you
