Hmm, I wonder if that will actually happen or get delayed again sad.gif

Hopefully its available soon, the default tm routers lan speed is miserable as it's not a gigabit port!!

Hi,

I'm using DSL N12U B1 with firmware 1.0.4.1

ISP TM Streamyx 4Mbps

how to enable Ipv6? it doesn't seem there are any ipv6 related settings in WAN configuration

does 1.0.4.9 version enable it?

Hi squall0833,

This model doesn't support IPv6 even with the new firmware.

DSL now only DSL-N55U support IPv6.

Thank you

Hi KonKam,

We didn't officially test in Malaysia, but we have some user reported that they able to use E398 on RT-N16 and RT-N56U.

As for the port forwarding, I not sure what kind of problem you facing but so far so good for our routers.

Thank you

Hi,

Currently have a RT-N16 running on 3G mode, was wondering if something like Huawei E398 would run on it. I checked the compatible list which was from 2009, it was not. Was wondering if it runs now ?

Thanks

Hi Asusmy

i just bought a Asus RT AC66U, the 5GHz coverage is still weak in my room.

i am stay in double story house, i put the asus ac66u at living hall and my room at up stair. blocked by 2 thick wall.

the coverage of 2.4GHz in my room is good almost full bar, the coverage of 5GHz in my room max 1 bar, sometime unable to detect.

anywhere to improve this condition? if i change longer antenna will help?

Hi ASUSmy, something weird happened with my wireless at home.
I'm using N56U and usually it can cover the whole 2 storeys even reach few yards outside my house.

But now the signal depreciate so much even the 2.4G only 1 bar on my 2nd floor (used to be almost full signal). 5G can reach but most of the time lost when I'm upstairs.

Is there a way to figure out what happened from within the router?

Hi Avatar1975,

5Ghz band will have lower coverage area, you can have a look on the link to explain more between the 2 band.

Changing longer antenna doesn't really helpful.

Thank you.

Hi nyunyu,

Try restart router and update the firmware to the latest. But most important is have you moved or adding something around that may blocked the router signal?

The latest firmware is 3.0.0.4.374.239.

Hi LcBoy135z,

If not mistaken, you should be able to change the language to English at the top under the firmware version.

Thank you

Hi nyunyu,

Try do a factory reset and test on different device see it is still same or not.

If the signal are not the same as what you have tested last time then you can send it for warranty claim.

Thank you
