Hi coOLR3xz,

Hold it for 5sec, you can notice the power LED light blinking. Release and wait it to do the reset, once stable already, you can redo or do your setting for Internet.

Thank you

Are there multiple SSID / guest wifi features available on the Asus RT-N56U?

Some of the reviews I've read said it does not come with such features which sounds rather odd to me given the positioning and pricing for this router.

Strange indeed since even the RT-N12 C1 selling at less than half the price has multiple SSID.

Will it ever be available (for the RT-N56U) through future firmware updates?

Any how on Asus R&D team add LTE 2600 and 1800 band for LTE modem?
By the way, all supported usb modem only capable run on 3G only?
Then, why the firmware stated support 4G?

helo ASUSmy

i am using the beta version firmware for my RT-N12 version C1 (GUI ASUSWRT). my problem is I am unable to make the router pingable from public. i had already disable to firewall and also tick the pingable checkbox but still the router is not pingable.

i need the router to be pingable to enable hurricane electric tunnel broker for ipv6. any idea?

Hi dimenxion,

Do you mean the beta firmware version 3.0.0.4.370?

If yes, try update the latest one 3.0.0.4.374.813.

http://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN12_C1/#support

It seen like they have fixed some IPv6 problem on version 3.0.0.4.374.430

Thank you

Hi btfan,

Nope, currently don't have any news on adding it. Maybe because of the spec doesn't allow it.

But you can always when to our website to check the latest firmware and the change log.

Thank you

Hi ASUSmy,

I noticed the latest firmware ASUS RT-AC66U Version 3.0.0.4.374.726 has added Dual WAN (in WAN -> Dual WAN) features.

May I know where can I get further info on setting the above router using Dual WAN since your Manual is already outdated.

Thank you.

Regards,

Tom

Hi dimenxion,

Mind sharing your configuration files on how your setting are done? And what ISP are your using?

I will PM you my e-mail address.

And may I know how you ping the router from public network?

Thank you
