Ultimately depending on your budget. If you can afford it, why not? Higher end model doesn't mean it's to cater for higher network bandwidth. Of course it could be overkill, but having more isn't a bad thing right? 

It's range (wifi signal coverage), concurrent connectivity, load of the connectivity, total number of connected devices, what expected performance throughput of the devices (like you got a lot of AC devices versus N, G etc).

I just bought Asus RT-AC5300, it work fine, but that a lease time there on count down in  3 Days, once 3 Days reach, the internet connection will drop, i have to manually on and off the internet connection to resume back the connection.

Is it anything wrong in my connection?

Currently i using streamyx.
