Hi brucesss,

The router listed below already can support. But you need to update the latest firmware from our website.

RT-AC66U (Broadcom) - RM739
RT-N66U (Broadcom) - RM639
RT-N65U (Ralink) - RM539
RT-N56U (Ralink) - RM439
RT-N53 (Broadcom) - RM309
RT-N16 (Broadcom) - RM339
RT-N15U (Broadcom) - RM199
RT-N14U (Ralink) - RM185
RT-N12HP (Broadcom) - RM229
RT-N12 (Broadcom) - RM139

Thank you

I bought two pce-ac66...and recently upgraded my mobo to asrock z87 xtreme6. Two problems. 1st,There's seems a compatibility problem with the software installation. It seems like 80% fail-to-install luck. If the installation get through, it will work flawlessly. Tested with both unit...the same. 2nd, windows cant seem to detect the unit if its plugged in on x1 pcie. It is pcie x1 2.0 which i think the right spec for it to operate. There's nothing else on the pcie lane. Just the card. I had to plug it on a x16 pcie 3.0, for windows to detect it. Here's my pc info
Asrock z87 extreme6,4670k haswell,ax850 psu, intel 330 ssd, fresh install win7 enterprise sp1,install latest intel drivers (inftool, gpu, everything else),asmedia sata drivers...in short, theres no xclamation mark on device manager. And lastly, i want to know if zte mf680 is compatible with the rt-ac66.no info on this modem on the "compatible 3g modem" page.
Thanks

Hi sHawTY,

Do you have any problem with this firmware? Feel free to let me know.

Thank you
RT-N16 firmware 3.0.0.4.354 (BETA) is disappointing.
The General Log in System Log will stop after a while.

Unlike the previous firmware, it logs everything.

Hi wshpang,

May I know how is the connection of your phone line to the modem router go about and is there any error pop out when doing the Internet setup? You are using streamyx?

Thank you

Hi satanhead2003,

Have you try download the latest utility version on our website to have a test? Version 2.0.2.4

http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC66/#support_Download_35

And can you provide the serial number of the PCE-AC66 to let use have a check?

Before you upgrade this motherboard, do you face this kind of problem?

And has you ask Asrock regarding this problem?

So far didn't heard of this problem.

If the ZTE MF680 if not on the list, our router might not be able to support it.

Thank you

Hi sHawTY,

As I heard from my RD, they have reduced some of the log on the routers. Those log on RD can understand will be hidden. hmm.gif

Is there anyway I can re-enable the log like in the previous firmware?
Also, when is the next stable firmware for RT-N16 going to come out? It feels like forever.

Or is it ASUS has stopped the development of firmware for RT-N16?

Thank you

Hi sHawTY,

Well I will try ask, but not sure they will open all the log or not.

And beside that not "stable" problem that you are facing, anything else?

Thank you

Hi brucesss,

If the Maxis IPTV require VLAN 823/824 to work, our router don't have predefined VLAN ID for it yet. But you can manually add it as shown on the image below.

Thank you.

Hi,

Currently using RT-N56U for 20Mbps Unifi.
I've upgrade to ASUS RT-N56U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.360.

The router is working great for more than 48 hours, but out of sudden every page couldn't reach, but ping to IP is fine, DNS error.

The logs stated unable to access /etc/resolv.conf.
After reboot the modem, everything back to normal.

Any permanent solution for this? as i don't wish to restart my router when the issue occurs.

Just want to let everybody know, zte mf680 works out of the box on rt-ac66u even though not listed officially. There seems no way to see modem signal strength...which i think important to some ppl. Overall, the signal on 5ghz is excellent, i dont know why my pce-ac66 link only 750Mbps max...where it should be 1300Mbps. Its about 10metre apart, and in line of sight (using wpa2-aes). Anyway, i cant seem to enforce mac filtering that can connect to this router.
