Hi widesky867,

What type security that you used for your SSID?

And may I know is this SSID on the RT-N53 same with your last router? If yes, try delete or forget your wireless network profile on your phone or notebook and connect again.

Another way is to use different SSID name.

Thank you

Just bought N56 and no issue with setting it up with unifi as well as the iptv. Only issue i'm having is when connected to wifi using notebook or iPhone there is no internet access. Would not have issue if connected to the 5ghz but only issue is with the 2.4ghz.

Would appreciate your advise. Tq.

Hi,
If I purchase the N56U from Hong Kong, is the warranty covered by Asus Malaysia? Can I use on Unifi or Maxis fiber?

Thanks.

Hi novusgizmos,

The warranty for networking device is local only, if you buy from there, you unable to claim warranty here if you have any problem.

And this model can support Unifi and Maxis Fiber.

Thank you

Hi, I just purchased ASUS RT-N12HP. I am trying to set it up as access point or repeater due to blind spot in one of the rooms. I am using Maxis Fiber internet.

I am a newbie in setting routers..etc.
What is the MAC address I need to enter ? Is it the one printed at the back of the router ?
I also leave the ISP account name and password blank. I just installed Maxis and I don't see any document provided by maxis with the information.
I tried following the quick setup guide. Once I reached the IP conflict screen, my entire internet access just went down. I stop the setup. Reboot Maxis/TM modem and router. After 5 mins, internet access is back up again.

Any easy guide for me to setup as an access point ? I have wired ethernet ports in all my rooms.

Appreciate any help. Thanks

Hi cheng34,

You can refer to the link below for the setup. If it require user name and password, you can add it after you select Celcom.

Hi mangotree,

After you log in to the router, on the top of the page you can see the Operation Mode, click on the underlined words and you will be direct to a page where you can select the Router, Repeater and Access Point mode.

Select Access Point and then Apply.

After you are done, just plug in the LAN cable to the WAN port of RT-N12HP.

Thank you

Hi a16791,

Have you try change the security type and see it can online or not?

Delete or forget the SSID profile and add again.

And may I know what is your current firmware version?

The newest one is 3.0.0.4.360.
