then i connect it through cable but it showed up unidentified network and fail to access to the router web gui. and now i have no idea to go though the setting to setup.
i had run a trouble shooting, it said the etherner doesnt have a valid IP configuration. HOW CAN I FIX THIS??

Hi coOLR3xz,

Have you try do a factory reset on the unit? There is a button near the WAN port. Press for 5sec and the power LED will blink.

If nothing is happening, it may be firmware upgrade failure. To recover the firmware, please the step on the guide below to do so.

Hi sharp903sh,

May I know which floor you plan to put the router? We got few models that have good coverage area. The range may varies due to distance, obstructions, or interference.

RT-AC66U
RT-N66U
RT-N65U
RT-N16
RT-N12HP

Thank you

Hi sharp903sh,

You can try the models that I have mentioned. For budget wise, you can try RT-N12HP.
Here is the link regarding the RT-N12HP.

Hi patrickyong.

Need your help to update the firmware to the latest first, here is the link
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLan...zscl4McgdUYJSrH

After finish updating,

1. Log in to the router
2. Go to Advance Setting->WAN
3. Select your WAN connection type to PPPoE.
4. And then your UNIFI User Name and Password
5. At the bottom, under Special Requirement from ISP, select your ISP
6. Then Apply

After that you will be able to use the UNIFI. The IPTV will be at LAN 4.

Thank you

Hi muhiann,

If you still facing hang problem with the RT-N13 even after updating the new firmware and factory reset, do send the unit for warranty claim.

Thank you

Dear Asus support, I've been using an rt-n66u for awhile and everything have been working fine until 2 days ago. The router suddenly disconnected in the middle of the night. Ive restored the router but right now I can't seem to set up WAN.

Everytime I enter my unifi username and password, there will be a pop up that says timeout and ask if I want to try again. I've tried upgrading the firmware even but it's just stuck at the processing stage.

I can confirm that it's not my connection problem as it is working fine now with the stock router.

Btw my firmware model is 270

Hi Voonz,

Only LAN Port 4 are for IPTV, try change it to LAN Port 4 and see it work or not.

And the ISP you select for your UNIFI is Unifi Home?

Thank you
