Yeah..i know he meant channel..but after that he added "But for me better use 20Mhz N settings instead of 40mhz auto settings."  sweat.gif

Lol. I use 20mhz only frequency, channel 8, N only mode. Since my neighbour use 40mhz channel 11, so I don't want any interference.

If I remember correctly, in 2.4ghz spectrum both channels 8 and 11 do have overlap. Only channels 1, 6 and 11 do not overlap.

But channel 1, 6 and 11 all used by my neighbour. So i am happy to use channel 8. And I use 5ghz for my youtube. So far no issues. smile.gif

Actually how to know whether the wireless is 20mhz or 40mhz? I'm using Wifi Analyzer in my Android phone, it shows channel, wireless frequency only.. hmm.gif

Quick question, if a service/port is not specified under the User-defined QoS rules, what is the default priority for these?

Asus RT-N56U page only shows version 3.0.0.4.378.6065, also with a note Japan only version.

Where is the 3.0.0.4.378.6117 as mentioned in the first page? On the way?

Hi guys. Just got the dsl-n55u but when trying to setup unifi, it doesn't have the special box that was shown in the video. All I have is streamyx jarring and maxis. No selection for unifi. How do I solve this case?

yes i know. I did check before purchasing. But unfortunately there really wasn't any option as my current modem got lightning struck and I have to get one to use. I'll just bring back to swap for one that's usable. If this is the case, which model should I go for(modem)? Found another router that suites my needs.

With the price you pay for DSL-N55U, you can get the pretty decent RT-N18U which will be compatible with UniFi.

Hi I am getting RT-AC3200 replacing the old RT-N66U. The old router is heavily configured with NAS, IPCam, port forward etc working on Maxis fibre internet. My question is anyway to migrate my old router (N66U) setting to this new AC3200 without manually reconfigure the new one?

Hi Asus Malaysia,

I have been trying to use RT-AC87U with Streamyx but after so many attempts calling you guys for help (At least 20 times) still couldn't have my problems solved.

I have got a D-Link ADSL modem which i use it in a pure Bridge Mode to connect with my RT-AC87U.

I was looking for Vasu to get information setting up my connection but he had been very hard to get. Was informed by other operators Vasu would definitely call me back by certain time but it did not happen. I am getting so frustrated.

Anyway, here is what i want to do.
1. D-link ADSL being set up in Bridge Mode,
2. keying in Streamyx's username and password in RT-AC87U in PPPOE for internet to work.

Problems: Internet connection can not be established.

Why going through so much of hassles getting this done? Answer: Wanna set up DNS to share files across 3 different location in different areas.

Can someone help please?

Hi coolguy_mahen,

It seen like our HQ has remove the beta version 3.0.0.4.378.6117, this include other models. the current latest version will be 3.0.0.4.378.6065.

Will update the list on the main page ASAP.

Thank you
