kkm, pl95077: refer to this lazada http://www.lazada.com.my/asus-rt-ac68u-dua...ter-486401.html, spelled clearly 3 years warranty at the bottom of the page. However, the listed price is RM739.00.
I bought the listed price RM710.00 with 10% discount voucher (not seeing it listed anymore), with 3 years warranty stated, was full-filled by JI Technology company via lazada.com. The box also has printed clearly "3 years warranty". |

Hi Guys, i need some advice or help on purchasing new router to cater for my family.
my current situation:- House : 3 storey ISP : Maxis Home Fibre 20mbps Current Setting: Maxis installed on my first floor with Default Modem and Router. (It able to provide stable connection) for my living hall and first floor family members, but not second floor. 1 pull a LAN Cable to second floor and plug in a TP Link Router (TL-WA901ND) to serve my second Floor family member, but their complained the connection is not stable, always need to restart the TP Link router or sometimes the browser doesn't even move at all. In mind solution: i was thinking to replaced the default router , so that it could serve all family member in 1 router, (Without needing the LAN Cable to pull up to second floor). Router in mind is RT-AC68U, but some said RT-AC87U only capable for my setting. hopefully someone could solve my problem, as i'm the IT in the house, user are my mum, aunty and uncle, they keep complaining about the internet. |

QUOTE(thematrix @ Jan 30 2015, 08:42 AM) Hi thematrix,You can try follow the video below to do the setting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESAPAJqWxH4&feature=youtu.be If still cannot, what error message that it pop out? Timed out or authentication error? Do use the Quick Internet Setup to get the error message. Timed out normally is either you didn't select the ISP profile or there is some is the cable connection. If authentication error, please help double check the UNIFI account user name and password. Thank you |

QUOTE(theang123 @ Jan 31 2015, 05:23 PM) hi, i has just bought the rt-n12HP. can i know how many users can connect to this modem at one time? My ASUS RT-N12 D1 can support 13 wireless-N devices and 2 wired PCs simultaneously without breaking a sweat.btw, i currently has 1 wiereless modem supplied by unifi, is it better if i use repeater mode or just use this one directly, my house sometimes got 15+ devices connected Your RT-N12HP should have similar capability. Just make sure you have the QoS rules and priorities properly defined and you are good to go. One more thing, just REPLACE the Unifi-supplied wireless router with the ASUS RT-N12HP. Don't even try to connect your ASUS RT-N12HP to the Unifi-supplied wireless router. |

Tomato AsusWRT-Merlin is the same as ASUS official firmware but with some tweaks, bug fixes & extra tools. Been using AsusWRT-Merlin nearly 6 months on my RT-N16 & RT-AC68U. Very satisfied with it. |
