Or you can get something that has everything, huge ram, faster speed, has both of the 2.4GHz & 5GHz wireless, you can get the RT-N66U.
With that, you don't have to worry about anything.

Let say if devices not support 5ghz? then router got 5ghz also useless right? 5ghz is referring to 802.11a rite?

Go for RT-N18U.
RT-N56U has only 1 strong point: it supports 5GHz WiFi band.
Other than that, it's considerably weaker than the RT-N18U.

CPU:
RT-N18U - Broadcom 800MHz
RT-N56U - Ralink 500MHz

RAM:
RT-N18U - 256MB DDR3
RT-N56U - 128MB DDR2

Flash:
RT-N18U - 128MB
RT-N56U - 8MB

USB Ports:
RT-N18U - 1 USB 3.0 + 1 USB 2.0
RT-N56U - 2 x USB 2.0

WiFi Antennas:
RT-N18U - Upgradeable external antennas
RT-N56U - Non-upgradeable internal antennas

I got RT-AC68U At RM639.00.

How? ....lazada.com:

listed price: RM710.00, bought when there's 10% voucher discount storewide last 2 weeks --> 710*0.9=639.00! Zero transport fee! Beres!

AC68U is Speed long distant demon compared to my previous TPLink 1043!

Yeah, that's why I didn't buy that. Much prefer the 1-to-1 warranty for Malaysian sets.

In fact, if you want to buy cheap, can even get the RT-AC87U for around RM760! Also no warranty... sad.gif sad.gif

1. Redownload the firmware.
2. Extract the update file to the root folder of your HDD (example: C:\ or D:\).. Do not put it in any folders.
3. Restore your router to factory default.
4. Update the firmware using an ethernet cable. NEVER use WiFi to update firmwares.

warranty 1 to 1 exchange within 3 years, i can have peace of mind rclxm9.gif

do the simple math calculation, 3 x 365 days, how much you cost per day for warranty??
