I hope asus can add the ability to lock certain devices to certain AI Mesh nodes. Got a few devices I have that keep connecting to the main router that has an unreliable signal instead of the node that has a stronger signal and they refuse to roam to the node after it connect to the main router. As they are static devices that do not move around, I'd prefer them to be locked to the nearest/strongest node.

QUOTE(MonsterJ9 @ Mar 6 2020, 08:02 PM) I’m planning to buy the entry level AX56U, is this router ok or AX3000 much better? Go with RT-AX3000

It sort of help.

Should I buy the AC86U or AX3000 for 500Mbps Unifi?
Minor gaming, Lots of 4K streaming and for a 2 storey house. I have no device with Wifi 6 capability now

This is only if the devices prefer to connect to the node, which they don't in my case for some reason. they prefer to connect to the main router and stay there.

I'm going to replace my router, how does the RT-AC66U compared to RT-AC1300UHP ? Which one is better for futureproof?

Now there's a new issue, the app crashes few seconds after launching most of the time if this new Asus Notice is enabled. If I disable in the Notification Settings then it doesn't crash.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Mar 9 2020, 11:47 AM) Have you tried restarting your phone instead... or use another phone to see if the app also crashes...? It's the app because disabling the new Asus Notice notification thing in the app settings stops it from crashing. So the new Asus Notice feature can't be used.

Hi AV_2018, I have feedback the problem you faced on the APP, HQ are fixing the problem, hopefully they will release the fixed version soon. Thank you
