Im not getting the e+ because the raya promo only is for HC e. So yeah,. What do you think of their gps navigation system? Should i buy from them? Is the quality good? Cost aroun Rm2,500. Do let me know! Really appreciate your help smile.gif

Not sure about the quality but I don't think its the same model as the one used for E+. I suggest to use this

You can install any well known 2DIN head unit (with gps/reverse camera) of your choice. Much better sound and quality compared to the they want to install.

Honda should review their service interval don't just thinking to suck blood only if not how to compete with toyota which giving 10000 km service interval!!! Honda malaysia treat us like idiot try to look at singapore honda website which is 10000 services interval!!! Really double standard that why Ubah and ini kali lah still deep in malaysian hearts although the black magic show took away Malaysian victory !!! What to do we all use to diam diam when being torture that why our country no longer lawful. Should we complain in group and explain why our service interval is different country???

The site is confusing, check out the brochure instead. There's no 'New Maintenance Menu' badge. See below I screencap different between Civic and City.

We can rage all we want but I don't think they will change to 10k unless a new City is coming out.

The worst part is all the new City need to stick with the 5k interval for 5 years due to the unlimited mileage warranty.. haha.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah,. I think so too. The price is a bit high and plus it is slightly lower specs than the one with HD screen GPS navigator (RM3,800) blink.gif

Any recommendation for good honda accessories that you know of? and the name and type of brand. Also what sort of good security lock system that is good for a new Honda City car too smile.gif

Thanks very much!

Look for Sh@rty 5 at the garage sales, he got package for Kenwood and Pioneer. Both is pretty good compared to those Taiwan/China OEM player.

Good security lock system? You mean steering lock? If so try and look for Stoplock Pro (quite expensive though)

I use a regular T-Rex steering lock. Haha.

If your car is new, the mileage is unlimited up to 5 years so even after 100k, you warranty is still good. Unless you purposely want to end the warranty. Haha.

I think depends on the SC, the problem is will they honor your warranty in case there's a problem with the car? They can just blame it on you for not following the required service interval even if they DID say its okay to service every 10k with fully synt oil before. Unless they provide a written letter with company stamp saying you can service every 10k, I wouldn't trust them.

I just use mineral oil now and stick with 5k interval.

yeah honda is trying to suck us as much as possible.
for me, i drive a lot due to my job.
average 5000km less than 1 month.
so its like 25-30 days for each service and the cost is really sky high.

im also planning to service outside after 100K km, to ensure my engine n gearbox dont have any manufacturer defect. the cost servicing outside would be 2-3x cheaper than what honda price now. after calculation i might as well save the 2-3x cheaper maintenance and void the warranty.

If honda revise to 10k interval then i might continue to service.
really stupid Honda malaysia. even vios and almera is doing 10k. Mazda2/3 too

just installed VS + GC from erictioh

those looking to enhance your ride further can consider it, very worth investment for just RM280. headlight dimming when aircond compressor kick in become less frequent and the effect is less, audio quality improved, instrument cluster seems more bright, and most important the pick up is much smoother now, no more jerking feeling

another problem eliminated from stock condition is hard start up, according to eric himself is because of the poor stock grounding in our car.

eh when you bought from ericteoh? i've been using for 3weeks now.. all u said is exactly what i experience too.. what i see the VS improve the most is aircond, i feel the air is much colder than before.. thumbup.gif

but headlight dimming still happen right? but not too obvious as before.. i thought this dimming will gone.. tongue.gif

Hallo bro not spreading fake news, you want believe or not is up to you okay and I don't give a damn whether you take it or not, just sharing info that I got here. Selamat Hari Raya to you.

Back on topic, the service interval on Honda site is really confusing as well.
My guess is Honda Malaysia is implementing 10k interval but greedy dealers insist want to do 5k so that they can get more profit.

I'm pretty sure Vios service every 10k, I think the SC recommend your GF to service every 5k so they can make more money? tongue.gif

Honda Malaysia is the one that decide on the service interval. Honda Singapore or Thailand set it to 10k.

just last 2 days ago. ya i was expecting the headlight dimming to be completely gone, it's there but now it's like it goes dim when compressor kick in, then it becomes bright again. before install vs and gc it will go dim, and continue to stay dim.
