Hi all, currently driving the latest 5.5G City. quite happy with all the driving ,
just lately i figured that when im travelling by North South highway, KL to Johor. when im doing 110-130km/h cruising, the car just wont go straight, there is a invisible force suddenly pull or drag your car to either right or left. Is there any problem? I try on normal highway i use to work, cruise at 110-130 as well, no problem. But this has happened so many times in NSE already.
I strongly think that it is caused by the wind turbulences, everytime i pass by a car or a car pass by me by high speed, my car immediately feel unstable. Well, then i also try 150-160km/h on NSE, the invisible force comes again, this is really weird and i will check on my next visit to service.
Any sifu here comment on this? Is this matter relates to any parts that related to Suspension? Bush?

Or it is normal for honda city? maybe this car is belong to B segment and we are supposed to cruise at 100km/h ???? also, did some test on NSE. release my hand abit to test. If the aliignment is off, the car will slightly off direction by little. But for my case, the allignment is fine, the car go straight all the way, but all of sudden, it will go left or right by quite much in a sudden.

wow bro! thanks for the info!!
Issit already well known for wobbly feeling at 120kmph? and not my suspension problem ya?
I've slightly upgraded my tyre to 185-60-15 Potenza tyre. for S spec 15 inch. your recommendation - 195-50 , 205-45 is refer to 15 inch or 16 inch bro? if 15 inch , any reocmmendation?
for number 4- just my personal opinion - City chasis is stiff enough, i guess the problem wont be the chasis stiffness , it should be something to deal with the Air Turbulences so aerokit might work.

ok i able to hit 19km/l on my way from kl to JB.
the most eco way to drive city for me would be
rev up aggresively to 100-110km/h , then step lightest as u can. u will achieve 20-25km/L in this stage. so the speed will slowly drop due to gear5 got not much power to hold, but then it wont drop too fast, usually for me drop until 90-100 then i step and pump it up to 110 again
because from what i found, if from 0-110km/h if you drive slowly to achieve 110km/h it actually get worse FC.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Feb 1 2013, 08:50 AM) your speed can reached to 140-170 on highway driving?? Feel stable? city actally quite stable if without the wobbly effect. I think the chasis/suspension is stiff enough so its realy stable. but talk about the aerodynamic or smtg that cause the wobly effect, i have no idea why a 1200 kg get affected by wind so easily. next tyre will use 195 /60 and see whether still encounter this problem or not

i hv write in to Honda Malaysia for the service interval issue already,
will post here once I get the answer!
1 thing to worry as well, Our city is using xW30 engine oil, their fully only has 0W20, 5W40 for fully (10k km)
if we using 5W40 its gonna make our engine less power, but 0W20 sounds good ^^ Coz the fuel consumption sure improve a lot but im worry about 0W20 would not provide good enough protection to the engine
