anyone tried changing to original city HU into a 3rd party HU? prefer with bluetooth

im driving pre facelift city S. no need to concern about steering controls

can fit into 09 city ? can show a pic with it in the car ?

i wonder what kind of brake noise as well

my car already clocked 85k in the odo. so far nothing unusual or serious since day 1

only the interior some parts start to wear out

mind sharing what brand ?

S spec got its pros oso la. smaller rims - less bumpy ride, fc slightly better. less accessories - less headache, because lower chances of breakdowns

i just installed this auto lock moments ago, met up with hollyfish. it locks the door when you engage the gear to D, and unlocks the moment u engage to P. not really practical i would say because i prefer to unlock the doors when i turn off the engine, much safer imo.

but still it's a very good gadget, better than nothing

its the type which when you press the brake it will lock the doors right? last time city club promote this to their members, forgot the brand


btw whr to get auto fold for 1xx ?

further more new city E spec got VSA. 2011 city E spec don't have VSA

bro you got any idea where can get auto folding mirror module with the motor included for city s spec ?


anybody else can recommend any good service centre in cheras area. i mean 3rd party sc, not honda's sc.

any ideas for 15" rims ?

i can find the mirror module for around RM1xx... forum here oso got some people selling. but the problem is it doesn't include the motor to fold in the mirror, that 1 is hard to find, and i believe that is the expensive part.

those looking to enhance your ride further can consider it, very worth investment for just RM280. headlight dimming when aircond compressor kick in become less frequent and the effect is less, audio quality improved, instrument cluster seems more bright, and most important the pick up is much smoother now, no more jerking feeling

another problem eliminated from stock condition is hard start up, according to eric himself is because of the poor stock grounding in our car.

just last 2 days ago. ya i was expecting the headlight dimming to be completely gone, it's there but now it's like it goes dim when compressor kick in, then it becomes bright again. before install vs and gc it will go dim, and continue to stay dim.

i lost my owners manual.... my car is already 4+ years old but recently when i need the book only realize i cant find it

anyway any1 of u kind enough to take me some photos of the car parts pages? eg : specification for engine oil, headlights etc etc

HC3 already dead ? heard the founder and owner already sold his car and moved oversea, that's why the club went inactive.

anyway i used to follow the postings in the forum last time, but that time the car is not owned by me, so i cant make any of those mods you guys did to your cars. but now my mom passed the car to me, but the forum went dead, so I went to HCOC instead, another city club. but that club focused on all honda city models and range, not as good as what HC3 did last time

try installing voltage stabilizer + grounding cable, will solve the gear sluggish problem. i recommend the one from erictioh, just search his name and you will find his vs and gc thread. RM170 for vs and RM110 for gc.

those who already service their car outside instead of honda SC...

what engine oil you guys are suing now ? can recommend any ?

there's another feature by the module which wasn't mentioned by him. the module will lock the doors when u engage to D for the first time, and unlock itself when u engage to P. when u unlock the doors manually while ur gear is in D, the doors will auto lock itself when the car starts moving again. the most important feature is in the case of emergency or very hard braking, the doors will auto unlock themselves, this is the most useful feature IMO, only found it out the other day when i did a very hard brake.

i've been thinking about castrol magnatec as well.... but also wanna try mobil 1. actually brand doesn't matter right? as long not cap ayam brand

no need cut wire, it's just plug and play, it's install inside the steering wheel shaft. pm hollyfish and he will provide installation, if you're in kl.
