When buying HTC, well, just pray that your unit works without issue. Pray that it doesn't fail, otherwise, going through their warranty is like nightmare.

Honestly, Samsung is still the best when it comes to warranty. My Nexus S was repaired before with no issues. I agree about the SIS service. Their call center sucks and they will ignore your calls. I got my phone replaced in an hour. So i guess I have more power .
Told them off on the phone, said this is too much, they said ok, come tomorrow to Kelana will one on one for you and yes.. i got my phone in 1 hour . Good day, but made me kinda hate HTC service overall.. need to scream to get things done.

My problem with them was far worse. I had a Desire S for about a month+, started having issues, sent in for repair, 1 week later, it was ready for collection, then started having a different issue. The cycle went on for about 6 times, I got so fed up (delays in between, half a year gone), I asked for compensation for loss of use. Then HTC Taiwan called, ding dong ding dong, another month gone. In the end, after negotiations, they replaced it with a HTC Sensation without Beats (which I bet was yet another refurb unit). I sold it off right away.

As for Samsung, well, all I can say is, their units are not consistent. Sure they have good service, but I'd still stay away from Samsung until I see better track record. In the family, my cousin bought an S2, masuk factory dunno how many times. My aunty bought an S3, again, masuk factory.

So far, Nokia hasn't failed me. Let's put firmware and stuff aside, at least, I haven't had to send a single unit in for repair. To me, Nokia's reputation is top notch in this regard. Worst is HTC.

For samsung my note 2 works great todate no issue except charger got some weird sound. Phone works great till todate

This remind me my an issue i face b4 with this SIS. My HD2 having failure power button issue. Send out for warranty claim. The PIC there check my phone everything and make a service report and mention everything which is scratch here and there bla bla bla.... she also noticed im using XDA ROM at that moment but does't said anything. So I wait for almost 2 weeks and keep calling them and the reply is as usual no spare part and waiting spare part from KL. Im pissed off and send a complaint email to HTC website. Guess what? i get reply in just about 2 hours mentioning so sorry for my problem and will solve this ASAP. Guess what happened now? A tech from SIS give me a call and said my warranty is void due to using unofficial ROM.... WTF after 2 weeks? And now I play my game... I went back and take back my phone and i just prepared... if they make any fussy shit statement I will just show them my service report copy and tell them it is not stated that im using unofficial ROM , so just said maybe your side try to sabotage me since i make a report. But they just give me my phone back and I falsh back to official ROM in my car using my laptop. in about 20 minutes i enter back SIS and send my phone for warranty claim again. Again the funny things happened since i get a call from SIS that the manage to get spare dunno from where and my phone is ready the following day....

THEN I MAKE DECISION WHICH IS SIS SERVICE CENTER SUCK BIG TIME.....

but i think u have to download the paypal app.
then in the wallet click the + to add account and u may choose paypal.
